Well it seems that the level multipliers no longet apply topets. I wonder why there was no mention of this in the patch notes

P.S. That means pets actually do the damage listed in PvP. If your pet says it has a damage of 300 it will actually hit for 300 before armor.

Now, just to get rid of the damage multipliers period, and grouping levels, and while we're at it, let's just scrap the entire CU altogether.

I regard 'stealth fixes' as bugs. If it's not listed in the notes, it's probably unintentional

I'm sure if you bugged it, we would see a patch note tomorrow that looked like:

-Fixed damage calculations for creature pets. Pets will no longer do reasonable damage and have been returned to being useless heaps, as intended.

I said a long long time ago when this CU was still in rumorville that all BE's and CH's should start stocking up on damage experimented pets. I did, did you?

this finally made me test CH on TC.

first thing i noticed was, that i dont get a state icon for maskscent. i sent a bug-report and noticed it in the game feedback dialog when leaving the game.
my first try of taming was somewhat disapointing. i finally found a merek baby on endor and hit the tame button. next second the baby was dead! ??? dont know what happend (usualy the baby will go agro when the tame fails - at the end, not at the start). well i found a giant stintrail baby on yavin, that didnt die when i tried to tame it.
no special attacks and no ranged toggle at training (i knew this from the forums already). i attacked some Stormies in Eisley and found that my stintrail attacked always ranged - just one time when it was standing just 1 m from the target it goes melee. ranged damage was energy, melee was kinetic (not sure if there was element damage on ranged as well - at least it was not stated in the combat log).

ran into a bug one time when i ordered it to attack a stormie that was unattackable ("u cannot see target" when i tried myself). couldnt do anything with the stintrail for quite some time (no reaction on commands, not even able to store it) - it was just standing there without doing anything.

still way to go til the start of InLive beta testing on May 5th - but at least some first signs, that CH might be still there after CU.
