I was on Dath last night up in rancor valley (Valcyn Server) harvesting xp and some of the nice Dath Carn out atm - kinda successfully getting 1440 CG xp with my Lvl 18 Kima. I am now a 2333 CH and its an awesome prof - despite the nerf.Then .......bang! - a baby bull rancor pops the 4th lair I hit. No-one around to tame it...even did a planet tell. Giventhe likelihood of me seeing these when i am master I can't help thinking there wasa little dev somewhere giggling and twisting the irony knife.

I've had these types of sad situations on Tarquinas. Needs to be (if there isn't already) a multiserver chat set up for creature handlers. I know EQ had many cross server channels. I hate when I see a rare baby spawn on Tarquinas.. only been lucky enough to find a creature handler to tame once.

Tip:
Next time .... ask for help here .....immediatlypost on these forums (ch and sever).....i'm sure if someone catches it, he would immediatly log on to help you.......

that is unfortunate..it took me forever to find one..and now you are faced with having to find 2..well at least you know where to look now, if that's any consolation..

i had a similar, yet far less serious situation the other day..i was on naboo and kept running int sawmp stalker spawns..4 of 5 spawned babies..having tamed the first 2 ( and havig a full data pad)..i wanted someone to get the third, and subsequent 4th..i relly think no one ever looks at the "planet chat" but you can do a "ch search" and see what ch's are on the planet..if all else fails..there is always the friends list..and of course the forums as you pointed out..i managed to get 2 other ch's..to come and tame the babies

What I just love is when you find the baby your looking for they either walk into an agro lair or the suddenly go into warp drive and get about 200m away.

owwww......dude .... i probably find this more sad then accidently killing it while trying to tame

this happened to me too a few weeks back before I mastered CH on Bloodfin. I asked my guild to do searches for Master CHs on whatever planet they were on but nothing popped up. And then I wept, sucked it up and drove off.

That is my greatest fear. I'm grinding a new CH and I'm staying away from known rare creature spawnareas/planets until I can master their creature lvl.
