Closest is cu-pa (may be bracasets if you like camel style)
you can mount and yell "ROHANN!!"
whatever.. this is Star Wars, and most horsy looking tybis and gualamas are not mountable..

It just doesn't work as well without the Viking-style helmets and shields. Still, Rebel warriors mounted on gualamas darting between the legs of marauding AT-ATs... that's how the Battle of Hoth should have really been.

You better believe it, if only they had a better tamable form of those horsies....maybe gualama overlords or something? that would be nice.....but i guess nice would probably break 3 other systems while its being implemented these days

with the continuity is SWG as it is, i fully expect to see this in the future, the saddest part is the rebel/viking
horseback riders will win.

Although it doesn't look like a horse, the dewback..(heck..its a lizard)...it's tricks and its mannerisims make it a fine "horse-like" mount.

Yeah, SOE has horses in Everquest.
No place in SWG, your elf ranger archer CH on horseback will never be...

Another horse (or mabie deer)-like creature is the corellian Krahbu. They unfortunately aren't mountable, but they are probably one of the most horse-like creatures I've seen, and I have had a couple requests to have one made mountable by those who didn't know it wasn't possible. As for thecurrently mountable ones, the above posts pretty mucn cover it- personally, I think the brackaset is the most (vaguely) horse-like one that is currently mountable.

A horse in SWG............
I have 2 mounts in my CH bag of tricks one's a rather noisy Dewbie and thers nothing like sitting on him when he trioks and yelling.....
Hiyo Silver AWAY.......
Memories of the lone ranger are strong with this one.
The Second is a BE creats CL31 Bantha called Baldrick, cos he usually has a cunning plan.
Get dressed up in my Tusken gear and potter about when i have nothing else to do.
