Thread: Poll: will anyone buy Space Expansion if our Bugs still remain?

I believe this to be a pertinent question. Most CH's feel that fixing bugs is more important than new content. Maybe it is important as consumers to show our faith in the product. Is it worth it to pay to play new content if the profession we care about is still broken beyond belief? Is there any other way to send a message to the Devs?

I expect 4 types of answers.

1) Are you kidding if they dont fix these bugs soon I am outta here real soon.
2) I will continue to play and not buy expansion until bugs are fixed.
3) I will buy the expansion without much faith because I love Star Wars.
4) I love this game.

Not against broad changes, just profession specific ones (read as CH) that go against what we've been told in the past.

I'd say CHs aren't alone. Maybe you should organise a protest

Doesn't see the point of a bile-venting "I'm leaving" thread.

I will never let my anger over how my PET MONKEY is affected by the game mechanics stop me from getting a starfighter.

Realistically, neither will you, you just can say you will right now, because no ones dangling a x wing in front of your nose.

I'd have to say, yes, I'll but it regardless.

Not because I'm a "one-eyed" Sony supporter, but because I've thought all along that CH will be even more limited in "SE" roles than in the core game, so it probably won't actually matter if they are still bugged or not...

I'm of mixed feelings. I may or may not continue to play, but I'm not buying Space Expansion until there's some driving reason to do so and the "world" as it exists now behaves reasonably well.

It's not just CH bugs, it's everything. The only thing I think I can say is "as advertised" is the eye candy. Everything else is of wildly inconsistent quality. If the existing world is still broken and/or breaking when Space Expansion comes out, it will be a travesty.

BTW, word to the wise, EQ2 and WoW are coming out in June (barring unforeseen delays) and the art has already been mostly done for Space Expansion for a long while. The same person or people responsible for rushing the intial release is probably also going to push Space Expansion out *long* before it's actually ready. Official sources said something like September, but my money is on June when the other stuff comes out.

It definitely depends on whether the pointy-haired bosses push the Space Expansion out the door as unready and bugridden as they pushed out the first release, for marketing & competitive motives.

Certainly I'll wait a couple weeks and get feedback from other residents in our City who buy it (if they're still in-game by then) to see how they like it, but I don't think anybody in our City will buy it for a couple weeks after release, waiting for forum feedback on just how bad the bugs are.

The SE will be a huge test of whether the Galaxies team has learned their lesson that Quality Always Matters ... if they go for flash over substance again, and push a pretty but broken product onto the shelves, the SE could be the end of this game instead of a crutch for it .....

I don't know, Right now I am po'ed enough to wait it out. I think those that are left in game will abandon the planets to take to the skies and the world we know right now will be terribly empty.

....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.
