All CH

Stop grinding

Stop learning Specials

Stop trying to look for Necklaces

Stop hunting for rare creatures to tame

Stop buying/making Bio pets

SWG is here to destroy us all and I would seriously recommend for what time is left with your pets to have fun with them. Take them out for long walks and feed them the best steak u can buy. If there is something u have always wanted to do with your pets now is the time to do it as when this new CU upgrade comes we will be no more.

Never again will we have mounts

Who will there be to mount creatures since there are no more CH. I guess those who dont already have Cu pa and dewbacks will have to do without as there will no one trained to do it.

Never again will we see entertainers with pets dancing or sitting alongside

They wont have any abilities to control any pets since they are no longer CH.

Will we see a master CH pull out his prized Rancor and have it attack a helpless Jedi. Never again will we see any serious nomad/frontiersman whom rely on their pets for survival.

It is time to turn off the computer

Tivo was right when he left the game when he did as thisgame for CH has progressively gotten worse. Just as when theprofession was looking to be getting some love and things were being added to enhance us this now happens. What a complete slap in the face to all of us who stayed on since the beginning to only now get treated like this.

I totally agree , can you think of a moreharsh form of cruelity to put the light of hope in front of us only to snatch it out from under us as we draw near, for the light apearently that SOE offers us is to instill false hope, and when removed makes our world more dark then it was at the start due to the betrayal we are left with.

When Beast was new we the leaders of it made a pact to aways be upbeat, positive and constructive with our communications and posts in these forums.

I hearby move that the Beast leadership revoke that pact. We need emotion to communicate our attachment to our companions. We need drama to express our outrage. If any of us can find it we could use some constructive ideas of where to go from here.

I have never posted on this forum, but decided that this would be a great time to start. What in the world are they thinking??!! I finally finda profession that I totally think rocks and work extremly hard to master that profession just to have it taken from me in a matter of a month?!! This is totally not cool!! I always thought this game was cool because there was so much to do and so many choices for professions. If I wanted to engage in combat my whole time, then there were many professions to choose from. If I didn't want to do the combat thing, then there were a lot of choices for professions there. No one was really the same. The way I see this new system working is that there is going to be a lot of Boba Fetts, Han Solos, and Luke Skywalkers running around and we are all going to be the same. I will probably not be renewing my subscription to this game when my initial 6 months that I payed for runs out. I bought the game for the current system. SOE, if you want to have this "iconic" gameplay, then design a new game, otherwise leave this one alone!

I'm actually relieved.

I hated the CU. I've hated it since day 1. I hated the CH revamp. I've been on hiatus from the game until recently when I decided to give the CH thing another try. I hated it. I got to the point where I was running around Dathomir spending a half hour per reptiilian flyer baby, trying to tame something with Aggression 3- a new "ability" that all pets used to have by DEFAULT. After a dozen babies I still only had tamed 1 with any special, and it was Self Sacrifice 3.

This was not fun. Even if I had found Aggression 3, I'd still have to re-grind my existing pets to even be able to train it. Not to mention, find and learn all the other "Abilities" that pets used to have inherently (Fleet Footed to make up for the speed nerf, anyone?)

I always said it would be easier on me if the devs just got rid of the profession. I was tired of being nerfed, shat on, and abused, and it was only my own stupid naivety that kept me subscribed in the hopes that the devs really meant well and would change their ways... one day.

So to have them finally pull the plug on CH means I can finally pull the plug on the game.

I'll stick around to see how this new game plays, but at least now I won't have some vain hope of a return of CH glory keeping me here. Either the new system wows me or I'm gone. No question.

Nice post man, I fell the same way.I am master swords and MCH and they are both gone. What makes me the madest is they could have gave us a warning. They couldnt have made the new CU over night, Im sure it took awhile. I have spent the last months catching pets and gaining there xp, and buying all the swordmans mods I could find. I spent over 60 mil on my amor and now its gone. I think they made this new CU thing so it would work on the new PS3 and Xbox 360 so they can get more money. Thats fine but to treat us players who have been paying there bills for years like this is crap. I went out today and bought 2 new games and I am having fun with them. I just cant pay to start over again, when I had no warning.

You did have a good point, I am enjoying my pets before they and myself are gone.

I miss Tivos precense on the forums, i wonder what he would have said to all of this

I apprieciated the help and advises back at the start of the hunt of the rare babies. I even "pulled a few tivos" back then, got my pad filled up with rare pets after a while. Much fun that was

Especially when i got my widow baby was insane.. 2 lairs of queens and widows next to eachother, i had a ranger/swordsman to help and i think we went on for 2 hours trying to empty the two lairs, then suddenly in the middle of between the two lairs, there was my baby widow
