Thread: Opinions on why the Devs did what they did with Female Narglatches??

I really can't put my finger on it. Why would they make an "Elite" CL 22 a better pet than basically any other pet out there twice their CL Level and then some?!?! Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining here, I love my girls but from a game stand point it's like telling the casual CH player that All you need to do is to get to tame CL 22's and then you're free to use your other points elsewhere.....

Does anyone know if there are plans for other elites in the near future that are higher level? Not sure I get what the Devs are doin with this one.

Not that anyone cares but I think it'd be cool if an "elite baby" would completely be a random baby spawn of basically 'any' ( CL 20 or higher for instance) animal class rather than making it specifically one species.....it would seem a little more fun to randomly spawn an "elite". That would keep our population of female narglatches from the "extinct list" - hehe

What are my fellow CH opinions on this?? Im very curious

I'm thinking they're adata point in the creature tablesthat slipped through the cracks of their level passes.

I haven't gone out to tame a triplet myselfbecause 1) I believe they will be nerfed eventually and 2) I'm jam-packed full of worthless creatures I'm too attached to, to go out and delete three to make room for narglatches that are likely to be made useless in time.

I agree, I thinkthis was an oversight. I believe the nerf hammer is not done. Therefore, use em while you have em and don't get too attached. If I had to guess, they will fix this with the so-called BE overhaul that is rumored coming.

I think the force was strong in the narglatches, and when the nerf bat came over the swamps, the force told the nerf bat "These aren't the creatures your looking for".

It's good that your optimistic, theOrb.

I hope, for your sake, thatthe devs don't crush your faith.

As for me, I've been betrayed too many times to give them any benefit of the doubt. They have always exceeded my wildest pessimism with their continued incompetance and crass abuse. At this point, I wouldn't even trust them with fetching my coffee without screwing it up.

Yeah, I've got a sinking feeling the female narglatches are going to get a sizable level increase. So that you'd only be able to call one.

I like the idea of having all tamable creatures have a smallchance of spawning elite babies. People wouldbe using other combinations of creatures, and it would give tons of rare creatures for us to hunt down.

It's not really faith at all that they'll let female nargs last much longer, im just saying it's highly probable they just plain forgot about them. Their often prone to forgetting things you see, and in star wars spirit, why shouldn't the force be responsible? :/

Im sure however if they have time to fix the kasshyk bantha's mouth, they have plenty of time to keep that nerf bat a swinging. Just gotta hope they don't blind side the community again to nerf things no one asked to be nerfed, and ignore all other issues on the plate. Not that hope has ever stopped blind, increadibly ridiculous nerfs and/or core system bugs before, but hey, they can't leave CH on their "To nerf" list forever. Eventually, their going to have to turn their attention somewhere else, so hopefully that will come before they find out about female narglatches.

Well there are a bunch of elite pets that are twice or so as powerful as their level. The Female Nargs aren't all that much better than those... though they are a bit more (3x as powerful as their level, roughly, rather than 2x). I suspect there will be a re-balance... probably they will be upped to level 33 or so.

Id like to know about some of those elite pets stats myself, especially since you can't see the stats with examine and can't tame any babies to see their stats since of course their spawns are broken.
