Ahh, so you release the pet?

No, as far as I know you jsut drop it but a bug allows dropped pets to be tamed, the dev's are probably workign on it.

We do not get a option to drop pets in our homes. I know it can be done because I've seen pets in peoples homes before.

Anyone actually done this that can tell the rest of us how its done?

you have to get a prototype pet from a bioengineer that you drop from your inventory

AFAIK you cant drop a datapad pet

Yeah, you have to have the pet in your inventory. (ie. it needs to be a bio-engineered pet) Anybody who buys a Bio-engineered pet can do this, just drop it in your home and it will stand there useless like a statue. Since most Bioengineered pets are bugged I wouldn't worry about somebody coming in and taming it.

I just bought a fleet of 5 Bearded Jax's (like a small cat) from a BE and put them all over my house. Talk about cute! Now if I was only a CH and could have them follow me around!

I also bought a beareded Jax and have it in my house. Very cute. My only disappointment is I can't rename it. So it's called what the BE named it at creation: "A House Cat."

oops...ive tamed like at least 25 of these house pets...i thought they spawned in there or sometimes the follow a person cause of the ! over their head and someone was inside that lead it in there....lol sorry to who evers pet i stole

Oooo! Yah. Ooops. I paid 2,500 for my little "house cat." I'd be upset to find out it got tamed by mistake. And yah, I prolly paid too much, but it was cute and, and, and the money was burning a hole in my pocket. However, I keep my "house cat" in my private house, not in my public shop. /nudges Bobba-Fett30. You so baaaaad. Tsk tsk. Heh.

Mystyrys is there a vender for these in Naboo?

I've heard that you can place pets as furniture in a building. Anyone know how? I've got a minor in Creature Handler, and I won't have enough spots for the pets I want, but I've become a bit attached to the ones I need to get rid of, and I don't want to just kick them out into the street. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, with the changes allowing anyone to have a low-level pet (if that's still in the pipeline), is this going to expand the number of pets a CH is allowed (i.e. multiple little ones now plus the regular?).

You can have pets in your house the only problems is (unless dev's have fixed this) pets you drop can be tamed by other ch's.

Greetings Ryla. Actually, I got mine off the public bazaar. If I recall correctly, I was in Moenia, but had checked the "This Planet" button and found Kaadara had "A House Cat" listed under Misc>Items. I think. Misc>Items is also where I found the deed for my droid. /shrug. Go figure? I guess the Entity and Deed listings are blank due to error/bug? I dunno.

Another option would be to go to Ctrl+P and use the Search to find a Bio-Engineer and email or tell one or a fewif they sell house pets. Or shout you'd like to buy one in one of the busier cities maybe. Ah. Or go to the BE forum and post there you'd like to buy and perhaps get a list too of what kind of creatures they sell for house pets. Heh... and pray they don't make barking gnorts.
