I was wondering if i could get the anwer to some questions. I have been colecting any monkeys or monkey like creatures (dont ask!). So far i have veermoks (ginat/normal/etc) ,Mamian , Skreeg and Handark is there any others? I,ve been trying to get gurk baby but the lairs dont seem to spawn them any one seen a baby gurk:?
Any help most welcome!!

You still seem to be missing shaupaut.
I'm not aware of anyone having ever reported a baby sighting for any type of gurk. Crazed Gurk Destroyers display as "Tamable: Yes," but again... I'm not aware of any actual baby sightings.

mereks are listed as part <don't recall> and part monkey, and some of the merek kinds kick ass too.

And dont forget to have a Bio-engineer make you a woolamander (coolest looking monkey in the game if you ask me)

Gurks don't spawn babies and BEs don't make them.
Theres also purboles which are basically ugly looking shaupauts, woolmanders as well, but you can only get woolmanders from BEs.
If you like half monkey, half arachnid mutant hybrids, then get some kind of merek 
If you consider Squills monkeylike (although I think they are more like reptmammalian velociraptors), you can get one of those.
Thats all of the monkey-like creatures in SWG I think.

GTO, they are supposed to be part arachnid, part monkey.
I agree, the Woolmanders are one of the cooler creatures ingame

I loves me some monkeys 
My friend on tempest had this AWESOME monkey creature. It was all buggey eyed and it twitched its ears and stuff, it looked awesome. It's name was Nightmonkey, and I was like 110% sure that wasnt the creature name. Anyone know what I'm talkin about, and what planet they're on? I'mma tame one as soon as someone can hit me with the information

Might be a purbole, they have big eyes. If you give a bit more description such as its color or whatever, it may help. The only other creature I can think of could be is a Woolmander, they also have biggish eyes, but you can't really see the ears.
Oh yea, Purboles are on Dathomir, they are quite common, Woolmanders don't have babies and you'd have to ask a BE to make one (not sure the minimum CL though, so you may be out of luck if you are non-CH) and they are found on Yavin in and around the Woolmander Temple only.

yessir, it must be the Perbole or what have you. I already have a woolamander, those things are afreakingdorable I'll go get me one as soon as I can get to Dath, which should be like...tonight. Thanks

Finally, some more monkey interest on the boards here. I am not a general mokey lover, but I have hunted rabidly for mamiens and gurks. Now as far as gurks go, SWG Creatures had the crazed gurk destroyer listed ashaving babies, but apparently this was changed as noone ever provided proof of a gurk baby. If anyone has seen a gurk baby, or if a ranger can verify that it does display as tameable... please do say. As for mamiens, the mamien male has always been the one baby available to us. Now SWG Creatures has the Mamien Jungle Lord listed as tameable, one of the few Yavin rares. If anyone can at least verify this... I would appreciate it. And for whoever cares, I believe that the elder and ancient mamiens USED to be tameable... a long time ago. I would not believe it, but once I did see a GIANT mamien standing in Theed. As an aspiring CH at the time, it made me very motivated. Shame I will never see this beauty again...

To be honest, I want to know if anyone else has seen this too. I think it was the first month of SWG, so I almost doubt my memory at this point. I believe it was an ancient mamien, and it was huge from what I remember. Maybe it was all a dream...
