It may be too early to panic, since they seem to be trying to find a way to consolidate the classes that are already ingame. For all we know, CH could be an offshoot of Commando or Bounty Hunter and be an actual combat profession (instead of support.)

See, that's just it. While the new expansion didnt add a lot of things for us, there were some pretty nice things added (like new pets to tame, and the CH necklace.) Its just rather hard to believe that they are going to nix the profession in total. At least change our title to Droid Handler and convert all of our pets to bots or something...
Give us new exciting stuff then drop us like a hot potato? Wow that is just harsh. I hope Middle Earth online comes out soon!
yeah a post by Vandessa says something to the effect that CH will be shelved as well as BE and scout.

Well, this should all be on Test Center on Friday. I *highly* recommend everyone log in when it's time and test it for yourself with a new character. I'm thinking that this is what the Combat Upgrade SHOULD have been.
Creature Handlers and Bio-Engineers.. will be no more.
The other classes will be condensed.. one "medic" profession, one "entertainer" profession..
Classes are as follows:
Commando
Bounty Hunter
Officer
Trader
Spy
Smuggler
Medic
Entertainer
and Force Sensitive.
Yes, you'll be able to start as a Jedi.
It's a shame, because I really enjoy the CH profession. I was a little sad when a buddy took his account back with the CH I'd built on it.
Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Commando, Medic, Force Sensitive, Officer (think SL), Tradesman, Entertainer, Spy. Poli and Pilot will remain unchanged.
Most experience can no be either quest based or grinding. With skills will come abilities as well as rewards. Crafters will have 4 sub crafters. I will not get into the large scale of the changes. As there are others that are also having things to say about it.
Basic points, entertainers and crafters will no longer draw agro unless they pick a fight. There are drastic changes to the way that specials work. I will be writing up basic 0.1 guides when I get back home tonight. Those will be in more detail.

Sorry Jope....we have already been eliminated. And given how the last CU was handled, it isnt going to be pretty. Guess we just don't count.
At least we can keep our titles........LOL, man this sucks!!
