I was wondering witchthe fastes creatures that can be mounted are.
Would be good to know now when I can tech pet mount.

The Kaadu (found on Naboo)are the fastest overall. They move through water at the same rate as they do on land. After that it's the Carrion Spat. After that they are all noticeably slower, especially the Bantha. If they are BE made you can have a mounted high CL Kaadu that can serve as your tank as well.

How do the cupas stack up on speed? Though I haven't ridden one yet they seem pretty quick. Any thoughts?

I've never ridden a Kaadu, but I think the Cu pa is one of the faster mounts out there, it's just as fast as the Carrion Spat, if not faster. If you can find yourself a Wasteland Cu pa, you'll be set. It's not only fast, but possibly hands-down, the coolest mount in the game, especially if you're a fan of ESB.

As far as I know, while you're actually riding on it, all mounts move at the same speed for run/walking...kaadu/spat skins have the fastest gallop speed though.When they're following you around, any mount will be able to keep up with you at walking speed even over rough terrain, and I dont think you'd ditch any of them even with burstrun.

Seems to me I remember the Devs mentioning that the carrion Spat was the fastest mount with Kaadu 2nd.
Of course this is all moot (or as Joey from freinds - moo point) if it seems fast to you riding it then that is the fastest mount regardless of actual stats speed etc.

Carrion Spats
Kaadu
Cu-pa
All very fast but dont run as long as any of the others
Bols
Dewback
Bantha
Medium speed, medium endurance
Falumpasets
Barackset
Humbaba
Slow speed high endurance
I remember when people used to have mount racing. Im pretty sure the Slow ones where usually the winner.

I have only been playing SWG for 2 months now so wasnt around when this would have happened. But damn it must have been fun

I didnt inlcude variations (Giant Carrion Spat, Savage Humbaba, Mountain Dewback etc.) because they all share the same stats with their base equivilants.

I once had a wasteland cupa, a dune bantha, a carrion spat and my savage humbaba all mounted in my datapad. I gathered them to do performance tests, the results of these tests made me get rid of my wasteland cupa, he was slower than expectedand didnt gallop as far as my savage humbaba, and the carrion spat was the fastest in the short run. All in all my savage humbaba is faster and runs/gallops further (it seems) than any of the rest but when your riding him he seems very slow but hes not.

I believe Kaddu and spat are equal in speed and are the fastest.
