Thread: Is there a Creature Handler character in the movies?

I know this is a game, based "loosely" on the movies. So whatever goes on in the game, doesn't necessarily reflect what's going on in the movies.
But I'm just curious, is there a CH in the movies?
The only CH I know is that rancor-owner in Return of the Jedi. Incidentally, Luke solo-ed that rancor. haha.

he didn't solo the rancor, the door crushed it. soloing implies you killed it yourself.
and yes, there are. not counting the prequel movies, the stormtroopers that ride the dewbacks, the jawas with the ronto, jabba has salacious crumb, and depending on how you look at it, the sarlacc. tuskens have the banthas, the rebel alliance troops had tauntauns. those being what i can recall offhand.

Ummm, Digi, didnt the StormTroopers train dewbacks and Sandpeople trained Bantha?

the remastered editions have even more examples of CH then the originals

rebels tamed tauntauns (sp?) to ride in ESB. I guess that could be used as an example

its not in the movies, but did any of you read any of the books? in the NJO. jacen solo which is han and leias son is a jedi CH. if u read the books u see that he has connections with the force to all animals. when hes captured by the yuzzhan vong he has their own animals turn on them. so he is definitely a true master CH

The Gungans had Kaadu and Fambaa in the 'first' film, someone must have trained them...?

there are alot of tamed creatures in the movies and someone must have tamed and trained them.
But as far as i know Malakili (Jabbas Rancor Tamer) is the only one that actually had a part in the movies.

that was a rancor youth whichANYONE can solo, and he didnt really solo it the door did. damn fool of a jedi should have just got a buff then he could have slapped it dead in a few seconds - then taken the rest of jabba's palace too. come to think of it luke wasnt that smart really, he should of got buffed before he went to see vader on endor. he could have solo'd vader and the emporer easy then. what a noob!
