I've been on tatooine since the game came out and havent seen any red dewbacks.

Anyone know a city with them around it, or have a way point to a place where they usually are.

Can i tame one as a novice zabrak CH?

i'm not worried about combat xp, i just want toget one

There are cannibal dewbacks and swarming dewbacks (both aggro) in the dune sea north of Wayfar. Since they're aggressive, I don't think you can tame at pure novice.

Hi all.

Came across two of these today and tamed them both without incident. They are level 20 and hit for 230-240 (ish), or exactly the same damage as a GSP (checked them with mine). These are harder hitting than the Dewbacks I have seen and are lower level which would allow someone to use 2 of these and remain at cl 40. Does anyone have any combat experience using these? FWIW I'm thinking of naming them Hannibal and Dahlmer.

You can't neame them Hannibal...I already tried. So Lecter had to do

Guess I wasn't the only one who tried Hannibal for these.

I've used 'em plenty. 2k HAM over the regular dewback, and more DMG. Not sure how that equates to a lower level though... I got more CHXP with regular dewbacks than with Cannibals. A difference of about 60-80. I prefer the Cannibal over other kinds of Dews though. IMHO.

I made a mistake about the level..they are same as regular Dewbacks. I guess what I ment was that they had increased damage without a higher level. I'll try them when they are grown. I'm kinda hooked on my snakes atm.

Hi All.

Been trying to find the 10 dewbacks needed in the first part of Quakke´s quest.

Been looking like a madman for some time now.

Do I need Ranger skills to track them ? or have I just been unlucky ?

Any pointers as to where to look for them ?

Just head on out to the closest player city with a mission terminal. Cannibal Dewback missions are incredibly easy to find on them, took about two level 60 missions to complete the quest.
