Are Crimson Razor Cats the same as Crimson Sand Panthers? If not, where can you find the Crimson Sand Panthers? I've been all over where I was told they were and haven't seen one yet.

Where were you told that there was such a thing as Crimson Sand Panther? I've never heard of it but I don't claim to be an expert on anything, just a well-traveled creature handler. As for the Crimson Razor Cat, I've personally seen these beasts in the sandy riverside regions of NE Corellia. Only one lair, one time and one baby. This was before the big patch and I haven't been back to that region since.

If you are interested in Crimson Razor Cats just follow the shoreline of the big lake on the east side of the Corellian map. I tamed and released around 15 a couple days ago as I ran from Bela Vista to Doaba Guerfel. I just wish they had better stats since they are more unique looking than GSP's with the red tint and all, but no armor and not very good resists on a CL 26 animal. I have traveled all over Corellia and never seen a Crimson Sand Panther sorry.

Sand Panthers were the beta version of Razor cats I believe. If you DNA sample a Razor Cat you get Sand Panther DNA. The lairs are Sand Panther lairs too if I recall correctly.

If you take a mission for sand panthers you get a different type of cat for the mission (female/male razor cat I think). That suggests to me that they were taken out or their name was changed and the mission texts weren't changed.

What levels do i need to get to too tame Crimson Razor Cats.I got a regular razor cat - about 7000 HAm and 220-230 dmg. I think the Crimsons are in the cl 28 range but they are aggro. Any help would be appreciated.

Another question - anyone ever see a Great Plains Stalker. My hunting party of 8 plus pets got wiped this weekend by one of these things. Are there any babies of these bad beasts?

Non-wookie would need Taming 3 and Training 2 I think. It may be 3 and 3 but I think 3/2 would do it (Taming 3 to give a better than 15% chance to tame an agro, training 2 because of the CL). A wookie would only need Taming 2 and Training 2 because of their taming bonus.

I am not a wookie and have been able totame/train 4 crimson razor cats at taming 2/training 2. They are CL26 when fully grown and have 8500 HAM, 310 - 320 damage.
