A very strong area disease at that, I usually get 150-200 wounds per tick from it.

To a random pool.
I have also noticed that when used on creatures it starts at 150 and gets stronger each tick. (When used on you by a wild creature it might do significantly more per tick.)

I have heard of Bull Rancor and screecher pets with plague strike reducing a player to 100% wounds in all 3 bars in 30 or so seconds.

A BE can not put aoe sp's on a pet.
I was under the impression that the aoe sp's were compromised on tamed pets too, does anyone know?
Yes on this aoe, I got hit by that and had to leave Endor... what a mess of wound damge. To fight these, you would have to have a Doctor present. You can also get things like food that help prevent this, but plan on getting nailed.

ya know i've heard that they can drop a person fast BUT, i've watched a person test it on another, the random ham disease of plague strike hardly did anything to a buffed person, not enough to add any serious backing to a ch in pvp =(

What is the tick time for this?
I ask because 1 minute is a pretty long time for the disease to tick, and the other pets poisons tick every 5 seconds as opposed to 10 seconds which is usually the case.

True, but when you're talking about 100-500 wound damage 1 min per hit is pretty good. We sure don't want another reason to get further nerfed!

I have a Manti Screecher and have used it vs players and creatures..........
One things for sure...the tamed variety seems to be feeble compared to what happens when a wild one plagues you.

That is because you probably do not have 0 fatigue when you got hit, so it ticks for a lot more.

Do you mean the duration? The strength is 1500 points of damage spread out over enough ticks to reach that point.
The base damage a tick is 150 (so ~10 ticks), however the amount goes up as battle fatigue does. Something with 1000 fatigue will have the disease do its damage in only a couple of ticks.
