Creature Handler Archive

First, let it be said that I have searched high and low for a bull rancor baby. Not to the extent of hundreds of lairs, but I've looked for quite some time to no avail.

I was in Kor Vella hammering away at imp NPC's with my pets when an acquantance (Relada) messaged me and asked me if I could tame bull rancor babies. I said yes, thinking it was just a question about it. He said he had one alone and he couldn't tame it and wondered if I was interested in it. Of course, I was. I was in a predicament. The imps had me cornered between two buildings and kept spawning at such a high rate I couldn't keep up. So, I took a chance and burst ran to the starport, gaining aggro of more imp NPC's near the entrance. Guard was up so I left my narglatches to defend me while I went inside to get a ticket. Thankfully I lost aggro at the ticket vendor. I went into the center and checked the ticket collector... 1:22. Whew. Finally the shuttle came and I went up to the ticket collector and bam, aggro and attack music from an imp out behind the starport. NO!!!!!!!, I screamed, as I ran around frantically clicking /peace, because I couldn't get on the shuttle while in combat. I ran back into the starport and boom, it was gone. I ran back to the ticket collector and wasable to get my ticket to work by inching toward the collector. I made it to Dath in short order and was able to tame the bull rancor baby on the second try. I had to rest afterward because I felt like I'd just run a marathon. What a rush!

ok, so, is that person an mch that wanted it but you kept it for yourself, an mch that couldn't tame it so let you have it, or just a regular person that informed you?

He was an MCH that didn't have tame clothes at the time, so he let me have it. Afterward he was sad, but he said he'd get another.

grats....though i have lost interest in looking for it, as well as the game itself. we'll see how the next weeks go otherwise i'll be posting a farewell. i'll let you guys know what i decide
