Thread: Pet LVL raised

I would like the see the current pet CL cap raised to CL80 instead of the CL70 that it is now. Also we should be able to tame adult creatures or at least juveniles. Sometimes baby's are really hard to find so letting us tame adults would greatly help us CH out.
I'm all for finding all rare babies, but being able too tame adults? ... That's sorta cheating. The CL raised too CL 80 I'm all for!

Off the bat no to any taming to anything other than a baby
cl 80 yes go ahead
even at beginning all you could tame was a bay THOUGH the babies did vary in size an were already adult sized adults are just as good as babies
Ok let me relate this to a rl pov i
f you tried to "tame" aWildElephantAdult sucker will kill you.
If you stole the baby they can be tamed and trained to react a certain way.
I basically disagree with the whole premise. I do think there should be room for us to use plus creature level items though being able to earn level 72 or 73 would be nice. Every other profession can get combat mod enhancements why not ch. Level 80 is excessive though.
1. You already got a level 80 pet if your eighty and you group with your pet. So its not like you suffer the penalties. So we already get level 80 pets they just need to be grouped with us.
2. We already got a whole ability system properly used can make a huge difference. We also have /enrage /embolden. These moves though underutalized can kick a pet up a serious notch.
3. Crafters can use pets without grouping them effectively jumping over their level to fight higher level game thats near 70. A half and half player should in no way be near a full on combat. That is the price you pay for being a crafter. Its the right call by the devs. When crafters could successfully half and half the results were ridiculous every guy and his brother was a crafter. That hurt crafting in general. The split value also enforced many players to not be monopoly artists this helped professions like smuggler merchant artisan. Who were often overwhelmed by half and halfs.
Yes I would love to see us being able to loot plus creature level attachments that would be nice to give us a little offensive bump. No 80 is not a option thats just not fair you have to remember this is a dynamic enviroment. Makeing chs that strong would make us fotm and probabally unbalanced in pvp. Havent seen 1 level 80 beat two level 80s yet. The conclusion is that its very difficult and nobody should have an unfair advantage. It sounds good to you because you see something you want full combat capability. Unfortunately that comes at the price of everyone else. You get to sell crafter goods and you get to be a loot hound. In a mmorpg all things come at a price you cant do it all at once. Many players opt for a second account or use the village to get a alt I would suggest trying that.
Tameing adults would be overly easy I am afraid and take much of the sport out of tameing. There are many tactics for successful tameing, and yes it takes some skill and dedication but thats a good thing.

A nice thing I would like to see is Creature Handler Quests where Master Creature Handlers Could gain a Pet with a CL over 70. Then the game would not be flooded with too many CL80 pets.
Plus extra content = extra fun
Bah, I would rather see us get lvl 82 pets so we can tame a Gorax... ![]()
With the LOGIC the dev's use we should be asking for lvl 90 pets then we would get lvl 80 possibly.
