I've been spending some time looking for a Swamp Stalker, but haven't had any luck. Has anyone seen any lately, and if so, where at?

west and east of keren..anywhere you see bamboo shoots sticking out of the ground is a good place to look....a hotspot on my server is the landbridge you see if you were heading from keren to theed (kind of hard to discribe without a map in front of me
:, try the area and se of there...if you decide to go east of keren there is a section of land locked in by a river..try that piece of land and the area around it..again i've seen/tamed a lot of swampies, and they are always (almost) on an area with bamboo shoots coming out of the ground..so if you keep going to a grassy area you've gone too far

Hmmm, quite odd you haven't seen any. I was playing around with a family member's CH on Tarquinas and so far, I have found at least 3 spawns of Swamp Stalkers that have ALL spawned a baby. I tamed two of them with his CH and then contacted a master ch that was in the area for the 3rd. As far as my CH, I haven't been on him as of late, but I had some very lucky rounds compared to when I first searched for one.
Also, I was again playing around with the CH on Tarquinas and got lucky with 2 prowling gurreck babies (tarquinas server). The first one was a failed taming and I forgot to unequip his weapon, so dead baby. The second one took SEVEN!!!!!! attempts to tame, but finally got it after running around.
So, all in all it seems like some of the "rares" are spawning more....especially swamp stalkers.

As others have said, the area E of Keren is prime. I live in a player city parked in the middle of swamp stalker country; I tamed my swamp stalker about 150 meters from my front door!

Yea, go to that swamp outside of Keren. If you check out the entire swamp (and it won't take long ) and don't see a SS you're very unlucky. They used to spawn frequently there even before the last few updates - at least on Chimaera.

Hey guys. Thanks for the advice. Looked around for a couple hours, but still haven't found one, but atleast I have a good idea of where to look. I'm sure the availability varies on each server, but I'm sure I will find one. I think it will be worth the wait.

I usually find themwest of Keren. I have yet to find one east. However, I only seem to find 1 spawn a day though 
However, last night I did get lucky and found 2!

West of keren is good ......i usually find manySouth of that big lake ....it's a real hotspot, at least on my server...
If you don't find any, clear out the other animals .... it will really not take to much time to force a swamp stalker spawn...
Found 4 babies inone month ...

I caught mine a month ago SW of Keren......less than 2k out. Right near the north/south running shorelineof the lake that stretches north toward the Gungan ruins.

on chilastra i have not even seen an adult of these, or the plains stalkers, since jtl launched.

Southwest of keren there is a strip of land that runs north/south with a lake at the south end and a river to the east. I usually find a spawn there a day. There is also a peninsula that goes out west from there where I tamed my first Swampy. I got my second a few weeks ago in that main area. I have also spotted Swampies down south near the gungan POI. Check SWGcreatures for waypoints.
