- Kill all the surface creatures, ordering your pet to attack each for maximum CH xp. Concentrate on one creature at a time to take it down as quickly as possible.
- Harvest whatever seems best.
- With scent still masked, tap the lair ONE TIME ONLY. Then hit the "Peace" button and back off to 50+ meters and wait. This will allow the lair to release the first wave of creatures as the damaged lair begins to deteriorate. If you're not attacking the lair when they spawn, the creatures -- INCLUDING BABIES -- will not emerge and go aggro until you attack! This will give you a chance to tame any babies that spawn.
- Tame any babies you want, then kill the rest and harvest from the corpses. Be sure to order your pet to attack each creature as you go.
- Attack the lair again, chipping away at it until it's down to roughly 55% of its original health. Then "Peace" out again, and wait for the lair's deterioration to again work its magic and release the next (non-aggro'd) spawn. Dont forget to mask your scent again, if needed.
- Repeat Step #5
- Kill the lair.
Q: Anything else I need to know?
Watch the "social" patterns of the creatures as you attack. Each creature type has some sort of AI routine built into them, and it's part of the fun to learn their patterns and use their behavior against them. For example, male kaadus will rush to the defense of any females being attacked, while females will hang in the background unless attacked. Therefore, you can improve your odds by killing off the males first.
At higher levels, thunes exhibit similar defensive instincts: the male Thune Herd Leaders and the female Hostile Thune Mothers will always rush to defend each other, but they have a tendency to ignore attacks on run-of-the-mill thune peons. Not always, but often enough to make it possible to pick off an isolated regular thune. The regular thunes will still rush to defend Leaders and Mothers, though, so the thing to do is pick off any isolated thunes first. This is important, because each subtype of Thune sports a different special attack, and as a group, they're much more dangerous than alone. Regular thunes will intimidate you; Hostile Thune Mothers will blind you; and Thune Herd Leaders and Thune Grassland Guardians dish out Cripple and Dizzy special attacks. A full group of thunes are like a military combined-arms attack. Pick off the isolated thunes first, and your attack odds improve greatly.

The rest of the paragraph makes it clear you're talking about damage-dealing, but that initial statement seems a bit overgeneralized by comparison.
True we can kick the a$$ of any Master merchant, artisan, taylor that comes our way
