3. Pets
Get yourself some good BE pets for PvP. It might cost alot (I've got close to 2 mill in my datapad) but the end result will be well worth it. The pets I use are 3 gurreck triplets with ar1 and 55% and up kinetic resist with the following combo of specials. Each combo is on a different pet for a reason which I will explain later.
Pet1
dizzy/blind
Pet2
strong poison/Intimidate
Pet3
cripple strike/stunning strike
5. Macros
Most people will tell you that looping macros are a BAD thing in PvP, but you need to remember that these people are also NOT MCHs. Ok now make sure your toolbar has 2 rows cause ur gonna need to make 10 macros/hotkeys. F1-F4 are my main attack keys, shift+F5-F8 are where the looping tellpet macros will go, F5 is where my healing macro goes, and F12 is where my looping headshot3 macro goes. trust me when I say using a pause of 0.1 or no pause at all in a looping tellpet macro is a bad thing. Ive lagged my machine so bad from running all these macros without a pause that I actually got the "Connection to SWG lost" message before. Not only does it cause lag it also backs up your pets combat queue and makes swapping between specials difficult. Now lemme tell you what to put in the macro text.
Here is the format for writing the macros
-------------------------------------------------------
MacroName (all notes will go in ( ) )
macro text
-------------------------------------------------------
PeaceStand (goes in the F1 box)
/dump;
/ui action clearCombatQueue;
/peace;
/stand;
/healdamage;
PostDown (goes in the F2 box)
/dump (keeps you from stacking already running macros and lagging out your machine)
/ui action toolbarSlot11;
/tellpet come; (the pets follow me comand)
/ui action toolbarSlot16;
/ui action toolbarSlot17;
/ui action toolbarSlot18;
StuningStrike (goes in the F3 box)
/dump
/ui action toolbarSlot11;
/tellpet come; (the pets follow me comand)
/ui action toolbarSlot16;
/ui action toolbarSlot17;
/ui action toolbarSlot19;
HealMind (goes in the F4 box)
/dump;
/tellpet come;
/ui action toolbarSlot10;
HealDamage (goes in the F5 box)
/ui action clearCombatQueue;
/healdamage;
trick (goes in the F11 box)
/tellpet trick1; (the pets trick1 command)
/macro trick; (no pause is ok for this 1 macro)
HeadShot3
/headshot3;
/pause .8; (sometimes lag will cause you to autoattack in between headshots so this keeps 2 headshots queued at all times)
/macro HeadShot3;
dump (goes in the Shift+F4 box)
/dump;
DizzyBlind (goes in Shift+F5 box)
/tellpet dizzy; (the pets dizzy command)
/pause 1;
/tellpet dizzy;
/pause 1;
/tellpet blind; (the pets blind command)
/pause 1;
/macro DizzyBlind;(my macro name)
IntimPoison (goes in Shift+F6 box)
/tellpet intim; (the pets intimidate command)
/pause 1;
/macro IntimPoison;
Stun (goes in Shift+F7 box)
/tellpet stun (the pets stunning strike command)
/pause 1;
/macro stun;
Cripple (goes in the Shift+F8 box)
/tellpet cripple; (the pets cripple strike command)
/pause 1;
/macro Cripple;

6. Pre-Duel Preparation
First get doc, musican, and dancer buffs(it would also be a good idea to get poison/disease buffs). Its important to remember to take 2 brandy right after the mind buff so you can give yourself time to digest it in case you need to take another or something else later on. Now right before the duel call your pets and take an Ithordian mist then some KD food followed by sysnthsteak and/or chornahulla if needed.
Jedi hit pets for 16000 dmg ??
that is truly insane.
I personally hate fighting Jedi, CM, Riflemen, TKM, Swordsmen and Fencers. All of them can virtually 'insta-gib' my pets... oh and me
My pets stick specials fairly regularly. All the ones above work on command and I constantly see the specials being fired above there heads. The reason they dont stick as often is cause people generally have high defenses against most states

Interesting post, but is very contingent on useing pet state attacks, and those are still quite buggy for my atleast. I have pretty much conceded that my pet is not going to stick a state atleast it will not when I tell it too. One of my biggest gripes. I spent alot of time working out good resists on my pets, and more particularly getting decent attacks. Unfortunately I have never actually gotten a pet to successfully stick a state. I will have to try that some more now. Maybe the devs put some fixes in, but as of two months ago it still did not work for me.
Like I said if pet state attacks really worked. I would be nigh unstoppable. I would simply sprayshot you and use 1 or even 2 pets with knockdown attacks and pin your rear to the ground. I would continue to use sprayshot while my pets ate someone alive.
