I think part of the problem is that some (most, all?) of that team is working on the expansion pack, looking to suck more money out of us, if we're dumb enough to buy it. The PT Barnum theory.

So you've accomplished your desired goal of reducing CH ranks to be in proportion with other professions, so now let's deal with some reality. Sure, I'd love to see the items on the wish list brought about. On the other hand, if you want to see this list quiet down a whole heck of a lot, how bout we exterminate some bugs?

  • Autostoring Pets

  • Pets not following (seems to be worse in publish 6)

  • Pets running off in battle

  • Pets not attacking properly

  • Pets standing on top of their owner

  • Specials not working

  • tellpet not working when it wants to

We don't want any creative nerfs to fix these problems, just fix them. Even the nonsensical 30 second delay wouldn't be a factor if this stuff worked as promised.

As a different generation starship captain was fond of saying..........Make it so.

Here here!

Pets running off in battle and then standing on your head is so very very annoying.

Pls fix this asap.

The bugs pretty much made CH unplayable in the recent patch. Everything either runs, or auto-stores...

Fix what you broke in Publish 6 ... fixing what was broken in 1-5 would be even better, but I won't ask for the moon ...

Fix what you broke in Publish 6.

Open a thread on "In Live" to discuss everyone's broken systems that this Publish borked.

Im surprised they dont just release it Pre-Alpha.... like the Beta code we are running now.. hehe I for one will not be ordering any Expansion Pack, unless they fix the **edit**e they have broken in the Release they already sold me.

I'm mystifyed as well as to how this came about. Beta was generally a great time - found lots of bugs, met lots of folks, lots of good interaction with the devs. Some of my best memories are of when Endor was first introduced and absolutely everything there was crazy hard and would kill you as soon as look at you. I've still got a copy of the post Holocron made just before the beta board closed (yeah, I'm a sentimental schmuck) and I think the idea of it just being "us" is best given by this quote from it.

But we’ll know—you and I, the testers, the devs, the folks who first arrived on Bria in a shuttle of 100 to try out walking on sand and little else, and the folks who arrived last week and stepped out into a marketplace of tailors selling clothes and an AT-ST about to step on them and Wookiees growling incomprehensibly—we’ll all know that no matter how this thing changes over the years and how many more people touch it, that we were all here to give it shape and form, to help it take its first steps, and to watch it go out into the world to be found by thousands of others.

.

.

.

Thank you to all the testers, who have left their footprints in the sands of Tatooine. The wind may rise, but the land will remember who trod on it first.

I guess when the game went live, there was this sudden transformation of us all into "customers", the great unwashed. That's annoying for anyone, but it's particularly difficult for those of us who were in beta, because we can remember when it was different.

This post has no point.. none. The devs dont care and they wont fix these bugs. It is a sad day in online gaming when new contentis more important than fixing broken content since DAY ONE... because we all know new content is what SELLS.

Oiwik Kalmor the Rodian. Final profession pending.
I love the NGE... don't you?

Wow, sad but somewhat true. I don't think it's the devs, it's management. Obviously, quality isn't job one.

WHY do some pets listen beautifully and others don't? (and the data pad shows both trained equally?)

SHADOWS (confused)
