Greetings fellow ch
Many of you know I have a Jedi that over the past months have molded him into a padawan with master saber and basic healing skills. Also have kept Master Creature Handler on Dorran as each day my pets accompanied me on the tedious grind for the millions of xp points necessary to get master saber.
I have always been a Creature handler first and everything else second. The jedi grind was at first unbarable as was so weak and without having ch honestly did not enjoy it. Then after publish 9 swg allowed me to use all unused skill points to use on ordinary skills so was able to regain master ch on my jedi. With Jedi as I grinded the profession I also hunted rare creatures getting a screecher first to help defend my Jedi and using my knowledge of ch began to very effectively grind tomaster saber.
However as I undertook this I knew that on this path would nevermaster jedi andeven if I did would never truly enjoy it as I do now with having master chwith my jedi skills. I decided to create guidelines that wouldgo beyond justgetting the xp forjedi as I thought of a true way toshow my status as both as a jedi and a ch. I decided to create a jedich trial for myself combining the two professionsof Jedi and Master Creature Handler.
I would start the trials with the title of padawan creature handler. The requirementsforgrinding the professions is I required myself tohave both master ch and mastering oneof the jedi trees such as master saber. To also test myselfI required the taming of 10 different rare creatures with 2 of those being ultra rare creatures. OnceI have fully grind bothprofessions andsuccessfully tamed all rare creatures then I would have earned the title of Jedi Master CH.
Here are the creatures I tamed
Rhoa Kwi Guardian
Rhoa Kwi Pack Leader
Swamp Stalker
Prowling Gurreck
Mantigrue Screecher
Gaping Spider Queen
Merek Deaths'head
Aracne Widow
Ultra Rare Creatures
Great Plains Stalker
Bull Rancor
Other acceptable creatures from rare creature list:
Thune Grassland Guardian
Gurreck
Malignant Squill
Other Ultra-rare creatures
Wild Dune Boar
After creating these guidelines and after successfully completing them have earned the title for my Jedi as Jedi Master CH. I think this trial was very challenging as it involves finding some of the hardest to find creatures in the game and once found creates a wonderful collection for theJedi Master CHto have. Any members of BEAST who wish to follow these guidelines I will help guide them down the path with advice of how to find the creatures and how to stay alive as Jedi.

Milteck, I'm curious what your skillset is with MCH. I'm also doing the jedi/CH thing because I can't bear to give up CH, but I was thinking master sabers would gimp me too much in terms of needed support abilities. My plan so far has been 0044 sabers, 4004 healing and 0002 enhancement. I figured that would give me a decently rounded template until the CURB and I could find out if CH would be worth keeping at that point.

That is a cool idea! I also am a Master CH and do not want to give it up for Jedi. However I am also lowlevel Medic for healing.
How do you heal yourself as a Jedi Master CH??

Well, there is the jedi healing discipline which allows you to heal yourself of damage, wounds, battle fatigue, as well as that of others. Also allows you to heal states, poison, disease, and bleeding. Of course, all those skills are spread out across 4 lines. 4xx4 would let me heal myself of damage across all 3 bars, and allow me to cure bleeding/poison/disease/ and remove states. x44x would allow a person to heal battle fatigue, wounds, and heal damage of others.
The problem is skill points. You need 2 tier 4 boxes minimum in sabers to be combat effective, and most people say master sabers to be effective in PvP. But MCH eats a lot of skill points, so you either get master sabers and almost nothing else, or the bare minimum of offense and support.

Well guess there is another CH on Radiant after all. I've not seen any in some time.
All my pets are BE though (I made them whenI was a BE). I have just recently become force sensetive, so it will be some time before I am a padwan stiil.

Am surprised you have not seen a BEAST member running around as we have gained a large active body of players. Then again we are
usually out in the field hunting and trying to find trouble with Bull Rancors, krayts, and all sorts of dangerous critters.
If you are interested in joining BEAST send me a tell and can talk to you about what we are about and why you shouldjoin our community of
creature handlers
