Thread: Sick and tired of poor responses to questions from TH...

Some pets are cowards??? Ok, Icould acceptthat if I were taming durnis. But a level 46 craggy bolma? The thing is the size of a sherman tank, and I had to get rid of the one I had because it was useless in combat. That thing must have set all time records for longest distances run in a game. I bet that bolmaran enough to make it around the world - twice. Curiously, it's my large pets (rancors & graul mauler) that run the most.
Other than mygrand wrix (that never runs away), allof my pets are "vicious", i.e."vicious" taming skill was needed to tame them. With the exception of my merek battlelord, I have to keep a careful eye on all my "vicious" pets lest they decide to make like marathon runners. I don't mean to say that they always run, but that it happens just enough to make me worry. Tell me why "vicious" pets would be cowards?
Some pets are cowards. Sheesh. So tell us which ones so we won't be taming them and calling the devs all sorts of names when they run away. Not unreasonable to think that a CH would know which creatures are cowardly.

Maybe I am just irritable today, but I am not pleased with TH's responses to CH issues today...
We are planning 2 new mounts...No new ground vehicles (probably) until after Space.
On the Pet sitting on top of you thing, we'll have that worked out soon. On the pet tanking issue, what was the pet and did its personality change? Some pets are "cowards"...

Before the publish, it was mainly Rancors, Grauls, and most definately Craggy Bolma's.
Use a Graul Mauler. Here is how you know it's an attack range bug.
When a Graul (mauler or no) is attacking, especially pickets, the Graul or even the picket will do this kind of half pivot move and turn back to face what it's attacking.
Even works for PC's. Duel someone's Rancor or Graul and step in real close to it, it would turn and try to reposition itself. You could often get it to start running. Yet somehow the devs can't duplicate this bug. Do they even care that CH is unplayable for many right now?
I kid you not. I am UNABLE to play my chose profession because all of my pets choose to run off into the distance, and in order to get them to stop, they must not be attacking. And being a Wookiee, this often means certain death...

When you say that you are not kidding, does that really mean that you are not kidding?
I am having trouble, but not to the extent that you are. I will just count myself lucky, I guess. And hope that it does not get worse before it gets better.

No, i'm not kidding. I am currently going up the BE tree, meaning I am having to drop many swordsman skills. I made the mistake of using my Rhoa Kwi Packleader to help protect me. The second it had to engage a Guallama, it started running. I usually use a posture change to get creatures to stop running, the only way to get them to stop now is to have them stop attacking all together. Every other one of my pets are behaving the same way...
so was this another little stealth nerf or is it a bug? has anyone gotten a clear answer about this? Or do i really need to go check the courage on the lvl 70 Gurreck i just made to see if it will stand and fight or run away. LOL at this whole deal, i have yet to encounter any critter in the wild that would turn and run instead of fight me tow to tow to the death. The whole idea is ridiculous, even paralopes stand and fight, but the rancors should run cause they're cowards. This is a bit too much now.
