Thread: CH's in RL?

I'm just curious how many CH's in game are also animal lovers out of the game, or if there's any other "real" CH's out there that work with exotics.
Right now I volunteer in animal rescue, and while a lot of the work is with dogs and cats I'm the one they call for reptiles, with the big snakes being my specialty. I've worked in several zoos with everything from prairie dogs to elephants as well.
I can't live without my pets any more than I can play without my pets, lol. Right now we've got two dogs (Tanis, a Malamute, and Falcor, a dwarf yellow lab), three cats (Scar, a Bengal, and two DSH named Quid (yes, named for Quid the Mod!) and Tasslehoff), and a ferret (Gabrielle).
So we hear about your datapads often enough, lets hear about the real critters too.

We've got two dogs (border collie-jakeand heinz57-mariah), 2 rabbits, and 2 DSH, assuming that means dwarf hamsters, lol.

LOL, DSH = Domestic Short Hair, in other words, your generic cat. DLH is Domestic Long Hair.

I like to say I'm a animal lover as well. I mostly keep reptiles and amphibians, and have an interest in expanding into birds as well. As of now, my absolute favorites are my Tiger Salamanders. They are just so fun! XD

I am a big animal (and nature) lover. It comes from a semi-rural background where I was brought up fishing, hunting and just enjoying the outdoors. I do not have any pets right now due to a variety of reasons. 
For most of my life though I was surrounded by cats, dogs and crawly things I found out in the yard.

I'm a nurse at an emergency animal hospital. We deal with wildlife as well as the usual pets. Some of the more unusual patients I've had where a deer, a catfish, various raptors, snapping turtles, foxes, an egret, and a stray monkey.
And I have a bunch of gurrcats at home

I just woke up because my dogs puppys attacked my ears and toes. Nothing like having 8 pittbull puppys attacking ya first thing in the morning and them living to tell the tale so i guess im an animal lover to an extent.

I have always had dogs (border collies) and when with search and rescue team, enjoyed training my collie dog for searching for people on the hills and mountains. Many years later, and less fit!, I am enjoying the hunt again - with my pets by my side. So yes - animal lover and feels good to have those pets.
