We were once promised armor for our pets. We have armor...... why notour pets. Right now pets are pretty useless, sad to say.Pet armorwould also benefit the economy as a whole. Obviously, more resources would be needed...which in turn would demand more harvestors be made...armorsmiths would have to make the armor to sell....and creature handlers would prosper as well becuase once again people would be looking for a hunting...or self defense companion. Well Devs....what do you think here? And one more thing while i am thinking of it. We can clone...why can't we clone our pets? Biologically speaking there should be no difference between cloning humans or critters.

Actually they never promised pet armor, we just saw concept art for it is all. They never stated it would ever make it into the game.

well how pets were from what i was told, they didnt need armor because they were actually good already.... now though with pets not on par with their wild counterpart, and themselves being nerfed, pet armor would be something nice.

I remember seeing pet armor promised as well...besides...who can possibly defend the state of CH now compared to what it was...and still could be. Vote for pet armor....we need something. This could be a start.

Somebody must be blind because i remember seeing the promise for armor too. I vote for pet armor. Up with CH. Good idea it was....

I think I remember tham saying we would get armor for pets. Maybe way way in the future. My pets don't really need it in PVE tho.

All i remember is concept art... And all is delayed until after JTL.... :-)

lol...... i would like pets to have armor also...... the way they are now they are uber weak in pvp.... pet armor would make ch more fun.... some thing to give the ch to look forward to

The reason they are weak in PvP right now is because of composite armor and buffs. Those are going down the nerf trail in the near future with the combat balance revamp. I'd wait till then to see what we end up with. If anything I'd prefer to see our pets keep a few of the resists their parents had.

Pet armor would be HUGE. We can buff, why no armor? If nothing else, it would add another cool level to CH game play.

I am against pet armor.

I am really against pet armor for some reason. I can't put my finger on any particularreason why. I think it would be a sight to see aBattle Armored Rancorcoming at you but look at the downside to this. A couple of points:

1) If they gavepets armor then that would basically double our costs. Wewould have to purchase armor for us and our pets.

2)With the armor nerf coming will the pet armor be worth our time and money or the armorsmiths effort to make it?

3) You know Non-CH will beSCREAMING for a perma-death for pets assoon as armor is introduced. (ATST argument)

4) It is another thingthat the devs can do that may not live up to the hype.

Too much potential downsideto this IMO.

(ATST argument) (duck) They didn't perma-death wookiees! *ouch - no flames please, I have a Wookiee toon too. I am not asking for 90% RIS, just some decent extra protection that would at least allow my pet to participate in PVP or PVE mobs.
