Thread: Merek Death's Head Baby tamed

I have no idea if this is rare or what...as I was doing POI's on Endor today, I about fell off my speeder when I saw a Merek Death's Head baby. Ok, so I did fall off my speeder. Took about 9 tries, but I tamed it.


Resist are 10% across the board, hits for 420-650 (quite a range), 11k HAM or thereabouts. Level 56 full-grown.


Not the best of the Merek line in the resists department for sure, but as I had never seen one, I had to go for it.


Earlier in the day I did a walkabout on Endor, exploring from the Smuggler's outpost north and east, then back south to the Research outpost. Picked up 3 Arachnae Webmaster babies, an Arachnae Warrior baby, and a Mantrigue Warrior baby. Had a shot at a Screecher lair but no babies popped. Darn.


I made MCH Friday night and promised myself I would go exploring - I did, all the work to get MCH was worth it, and I have a growing stable of top-notch wild pets to show for it.

0.55 if I recall.


I see it as a "Trophy Pet". I seriously doubt I'll ever use it unless I'm grouped. No way would I solo with it.

It has Strong Poison and Strong Disease too. Don't discount it because of it's resists.

Thanks for the info, Danny. Strong Poison is good PvE - I have several BE pets with Strong Disease and it just isn't worth it PvE - PVP, yeah, but not PvE.


The Light Armor is nice but the resists are too low for the things I tend to take on. It was a great find though and I'm glad to have the DH in my pad.

yeah one of the few mereks with energy



but my kind and queen harvester got some nice stats also


they are only cl50 tho .. but guess the energy the dh got haveto do with the high cl

Yes the Strong Disease is a Killer... I got hit by it and was dead pretty much in 4 ticks... Wound dead that is. My health went all black in about 4 ticks. And it lasted for ever, I had a medic keep trying to heal the wounds but they would go down faster than he could heal... Luckily he had the abilityto cure disease, after he found some components he needed. Pretty messy stuff. I would say he would be pretty affective in PvP. Strong Disease AND strong Poison...

ive got a level 32 and a level 33 gurreck made all from death head dna, 10k ish HAM both with same resists and light armor. both have the strong poison and disease, very nice pets i must say.


ill try to get some ss of them posted when i get home if someone wants to see them.

I tamed one last night as well looking for our Harvester baby. Great specials! Took me one try to tame.

Congrats on the new pet, I have been looking for 1 the last few days and other than getting gangbanged by the adults have yet to see a baby death head.

well guys, i just started day 2 of my official deaths head baby hunt. woke up at noon, logged on, and started my hunt. i made my way to endors desert being thats where alot of people on my server have found them. so i find lair #7. take out all autospawns, then tap...nothin...tap again, nothin. so i am about to finish lair when out pops 4 battlelords and a queen harvster! LOL. i was like "oohhhh sh......" lol so i burst run away from them, survive, and run into THREE merek lairs. 2 of them having deaths heads. i was like...jackpot!


so on lair #8 i must have scared all the other mereks away, cause there was no one around, so i tapped it and waited. first thing to pop out was...DEATHS HEAD BABY! WOOOOOT


heres the screenshot of the little guy and another that shows you exactly what type of lair and what was at the lair (you cant see him but the other red dot on the second screenshot is a merek harvester) so it shows you what type of lair i got it from (wild earthen mound, the darker kind) what was at the lair (merek deaths head, assassin, and harvester) and where i got it (right next to battlefield) I AM SO HAPPY
