Thread: Creature Handling guild Forming on the Radiant Galaxy

Greetings fellow Creature Handlers
I am attempting to form a guild on Radiant with the main focus on enhancing the CH profession by providing an in game forum for its development. I have been a CH since 7-22-03 and have hunted pretty much every creature of the swg universe and have always shared my knowledge with other handlers.
The city I am building is a hunting guild with one of the main focus being a ch association. The title of the association is Galactic Creature Handling Association and as guild leader am working on a city title that would reflect the profession. Already I have 3 creature handler masters committed to being apart of this guild and am looking for veteran devoted creature handlers and novice creature handlers to fill the ranks. The guild is also looking for doctors, rangers, merchents, and hunters so we can form diverse hunting teams to hunt a wide variety of different game.
Here are the guilds goals:
1. To provide a positive atmosphere to develop the creature handling profession
2. To provide novice creature handlers with veteran creature handlers who can provide hunting tips, grinding tips, and good spots to look for creatures.
3. Provide members with exciting acitivities such as pet vs pet tournaments, large game hunting, and group hunting for rare creatures.
4. To create a uniform pricing system for selling pets.
5. To create one unified voice to the devs about creature handler issues in our guild.

Once the city is placed I am going to have a grand opening celebration inviting all creature handlers of radiant and friends to see what we are trying to do. If any creature handler from another galaxy would like to create a character on radiant and join it would help us out because we are still currently recruiting people to build the city. We are up to 8 and hope to have several more members before dropping the city. If for any reason we dont have the number of creature handlers to drop a city hall we will rop a guild hall instead and run things from there until we have the number but since we have 8 we are very optomistic that wont happen.
Any ch reading this please leave feedback about what you think and anything we can do to make it better.

same here. Darnit, Think how good a ch guild would be in pvp. Each person has 2 bio blurrgs or whatever. and attack. Mass confusion/death.

Got all my buildings ordered.
If any master ch would like to create a character in my galaxy to help build my guild you would be welcomed.

milteck spoke with me today on my server. we had a very brief/great chat about plans for this galactic guild. some quick details are that it would be of solely master CH's who are known as great hunters of animals, and we also think it would be best to have this one guild on each galaxy. that way, no one has to start a new character and we still can be united. grant it, it will take up all your lots to have a guild hall....but, i think if you are as dedicated as milteck and i are you'll agree its worth it if we can all join up. i'll be back later after work to discuss more, along with milteck

I need all the support I can get on this.
If all goes well, willhave City Hall up before next weekend.
Would welcome any master ch from other galaxies who would like to create a character on Radiant and we will provide a small house that will be maintained by me.

about the galactic guild thing. I am not sure we will be able to find enought master chs that are known as rare pet hunters. So far in my guild I am going to let anyone that is at least half way along in ch and wants to master join.

Yes I am allowing any creature handler to join my guild in the Radiant Galaxy because want to allow anyone to have an opportunity to be apart of this. Tivo and I are discussing how we can expand this so it would become something established on every server.

Here is some updated info about the Guild I am creating
Dropped a guild hall last night and created the guild. The Guild title is Galactic CH Guild and our guild emblem next to our name is BEAST which is short for Beastmaster.
Alsocreated a character on Lowcawhere had further discussions with Tivo on how to expand this guild to other servers.Tivohas agreed tocreate this guild on his server and will be the Guild leader on Lowca for the Ch Guild he is going to create there.Starting today we will begin to accept applications from any other master ch who wishes to create this guild on server. We will interview youon your serverto ensure we are getting the very bestMaster CH to be the leader on that server.
Our hope is to eventually have the guild established on every server and to unite Creature Handlers Galaxy wide.
