Thread: MCH FASTEST TRAVELER IN THE GALAXY?

If mch was able to train flying mounts that would be faster then the swoop bike because they can fly we could be the fastes travelers in the galaxy. and why not? we need to be the best in something, every proffesion is the best at something and right now we are not. we are not the best in tanking, pvp, or pve. so why not let mch have the ability to train flying mounts? come on devs you know you want to make flying mounts for us

This has already been addressed in many threads, including Vertexon's mount thread.
I do think it would be wonderful if they would bring back Giant Peko Peko babies and make them mountable. I met up with a CH yesterday that still has a Gaint Peko Peko. He brought it out... what an awesome pet. Wish I had one.

I'd love to have a flying mount but only if the requirements are such that its only avalible to CH's. I dont want NCH's and people that take only a box or two to have them.

Don't you think that flying mounts would be totally inappropriate for the Star Wars universe? Don't forget about that.

yeah thats why i said mch, because only a master could train a bird to be a mount. this would be so uber cool. and when did they get rid of giant peko pekos?

Personally I'd rather have the large fast cats' mountable, like the Greater Sludge Panther or the Great Plains Stalker, these guys are as fast as speeder bikes.

The Kaminoans had mounts that would both swim and fly. Already there's more justification for a flying mount than there is for things such as composite armor.

Is that a serious statement or a joke? I'll assume you did see Episode II, right? Anyway I think they may actually opt to give us a flying mount, but not make it faster than vehicles because the still want to make vehicles the fastest mode of transpo and give mounts other options, like using specials. But hell being able to fly high above a city is an option in and of itself.

Cats are about the same speed as a speeder bike but they're slower than a swoop bike. Birds though can keep up with a swoop bike.

I can think of 2 flying mounts that showed up in the SW universe. One was in Ep II on kamino like the others mentiond the other was in the EU specificly the origin of han solo trilogy.

I might add that if you listen to the commentary track, Lucas had the concept of the flying mount (the Airwhale)around for years, and was finally able to use it in Ep II.
