OK, I'm on like my fifteenth wild lair of pekos, usually there are 2 giants and a regular on one, today I'm at one that's two giants spawning from it.

I've seen many regular babies from these lairs, but not a single giant peko baby.

/examine says that giant pekos are tamable, but I haven't seen baby one since the CU publish.

Has anyone seen or tamed a giant peko peko since the CU went live?

I tamed one last week. I worked on one lair and killed about 15 of them. A giant will spawn from a combo peko/giant peko lair.

Tamed one on Gorath 2 days ago. The baby was in the original spawn of the lair and I did not try to find any others from the lair since an examine of the adults showed they are a pretty weak critter at level 22 I believe. It's just for showing off. Never will be any real use.

Oh, I agree, never to be used in combat. Like my fambaa, it's just huge and cool.

I got one 2 nights ago on a wild spawn. Running to my house saw two Giants outside (no lair, guess it could have been in the building...) but killed one just to test a new weapon then ran into my house to work on some stuff and when I came out a baby had appeared, so... /tame.

I've tamed 2 from the 2 peko lairs i've seen. You must just have bad luck

I support a rollback and keeping & balancing the old combat system.
...and making SWG a better place to be. Your voice counts!

I tamed one and yes it was a pain,...this should be added to the simi rare list I killed like 35 lairs or morebeforeI got a baby,

Yeah, I guess I'm just unlucky in ths instance. I have a swamp stalker, I've got a mantigrue screecher, this is more than most CHs can claim...

But I've always wanted a giant peko peko, just because they're HUGE!

Let's all admit it...the traditonal "meet up with another CH and have a pet show" thing is a lot of fun, and it's even more fun to show off your pets to a noob. I nearly always wait unti the end to call out the big impressive pets (don't look to carefully at their stats, now!) like the fambaa and the rancor. The rancor ALWAYS gets the last slot. I pull out the gurreck, and someone scoffs and says it's not impressive, although pre CU it was superior in almost every way to the rancor. But the rancor was in RotJ, it nearly ate Luke, so people get all excited with them around. Besides, they are big and are impressive, and they elicit fear in a lot of players who aren't quite sure if it's actually tame...they don't understand the way pets work yet, and so seeing one who is new to the game and has seen the movies always gets a reaction.

A short announcement...

Got my giant peko baby tonight. I'm a happy CH.

Now I have to decide who gets the boot to make space for the train/tame spot. Decisions, decisions...

I'm actually leaning toward saying goodbye to my giant carrion spat mount...

He he, I went through the same thing when I wanted my GPP. I had to spend hours looking for the dang thing. I guess I'm getting spoiled as I had no trouble spending 1½ years looking for my GPS, but I was getting frustrated having to spend ½ a night to get a previously extinct pet... Go figure...
