Thread: Great Plains Stalker Tamed, ahhhh yeah!

I've been a Master for awhile and for the past 6 months i've been half-heartly searching for a GPS, splitting my time between searching for GPS and taming other creatures else where. But today I was making the rounds and was nearing the end of my waypoint cycle when I came across two Great Plain Stalkers duking it out. So I stop and get out of my Land Speeder and summon my Gurreck BirrMurray. I send Birr in and start shooting till they both drop, and I walk over and cut'em for there hide and go away about 500 meters and another GPS pops up. So I kill this one too and I go away and come back and there another adult GPS. Well that's four I thought, so I killed him and chopped him up and went away again and came back up. I came back and.....nothing was there. So I went foward and crossed a river and 150m away form where I found the GPS's there was a glorious, beutiful, Great Plains Stalker (baby)!! What I forgot to relize is that I left Birr out!! So the baby goes bonkers and chases me down and Birr goes nuts on it. I freak out and start running constantly calling Birr as I go. Eventually the Baby gives up, I breath alittle easier, and I store Birr. So I masked my scent, walked up and started the taming. Three rounds of taming and still it resists, on the fourth it goes berserk and attack, I started running but then I relized I was surrounded by trouble, I was beset on three sides by CoSec troopers. I knew if I got too close to them they open fire cause I have such good faction points with them, and on the one remaining side I had a herd of Sharnaffs and I knew if it stopped attacking me around them it start attacking them, then I'd be dead for sure. So I do the only senseible option I have left, I jump in the river and start swimming. A couple minutes of this and the baby get's tired of chasing me and goes back to lay down. So I climb outta the river and try again. It freaks. Back into the river. Ok seven's a lucky number I think. I try again and BAM!! he's mine, all mine, finally hours and hours of endless searching have a happy ending, I'm now the proud owner of a Great Plains Stalker!!

I took some pics of my tame but I'm kinda at a loss at how to show them. Any help would be apprecitated

Great story. I dont use a pet to help me, I just rely on buffs and my LLC. Congrats, how that must feel to finally tame an animal with a ferocity of 15!!!
I can't wait and I am still looking, just started today. I found three today and killed the adults but no babies spawned. I looked everywhere.
I took awesome screnshots of my battle with the beasts and will post them soon if I figure it all out. To the guy who asked for screenshots, go to swgcreatures.com and there is a still photo of a GPS there.

This screenshot was taken after I had just laid eyes on the first GPS I had ever seen in the wild. When I saw that ferocity of 15, I crapped my pants!!!

It worked! Here's how you do it for those who dont know how to see the screenshot:
Hold left click down and slide it over the entire website I gave you, from http all the way to the end.
The whole web adress should be highlighted now. Now right click on the highlighted web address and choose COPY.
Go up to the web browser area where it says, http://forum.station.sony.com etc..... and right click that. Choose PASTE
Then go immediately to the right and click GO
Once you are there, choose open screenshot

GedejaGora, register with Image Dump on the internet and post your screenshots from the SWG folder, like I did. It's not that hard really. Any questions let me know.

tivo's been on vacation for the last....week or so. he hasn't been viewing the board at all.

Congrats buddy.
I am on Wanderhome and I have NEVER seen a single GPS, adult or otherwise. I am jinxed I am sure of it. Been looking for weeks too
