Greetings,
I noticed since Publish 18 went in, that my female narglaches (currently CL18) don't appear to take on my combat level (CL54) when grouped with me. They stay at their own CL. Anyone else see this?

Yep, I saw the same right after P-18 on Infinity. My CL65 varactyl remains CL65 when I (CL80) group with it.

I can confirm this as well. My Kwi is remaining 66 in the group window, though my PC is 80. I have not tried him against level 80 mobs yet but I will try him tonight and report my findings.

they made it show thier actual level because some people got the impression that thier level 5 durni was somehow transformed into an uber level 80 pet when they grouped with it. all that number shows next to everyones names in the group is the highest levelout ofall the group members. it doesnt make anyone or pet a better or worse fighter.

Odd...mine always showed their actual level and not the group level when I grouped my pets...this always confused me when everyone else was saying the level changed.

The real question -- and I did not think to check this because I was fighting grey cons, so I didn't care at the time -- is whether grouping them turns their con from grey to white. If it does, then level number aside, things are working "as intended" at least. If they stay grey, then it's bugged.
I have not checked this but I will when I get home and get in game.

So you're saying if the pet's icons are white in the group then they are taking on the highest player's CL in the group, regardless of what their actual CL reports? The icons are indeed white...

Yes, I think that is how it works. If the icons are white, they are getting the grouping bonus.

That's odd, because I too always saw the pets original level, I always just assumed it took on my modifiers without displaying my CL :/. Is anyone having bad times with their pets?

OK I tested this with my female nargs tonight. Those are level 22 so if they didn't take on my level when grouped with me, HAM or no HAM, they should have taken a serious beat-down. I went up against level 82 war grondas. Grouped with me, the narg ladies did just fine. After a fight, one would be maybe down to half Health, the others full health.. Often the one damaged one was way above half health after a fight. I never had to pause to wait for them to recover, and they did respectable damage given that they are only "1/3" of a pet each.
Their level displayed as 22 both in the group display and if I targeted one (in the target box). But their "con disk" showed as white, which means they got the group bump up (I think).
So as far as I can tell, everything in regard to levels and grouping is working as it has all along.
