Thread: DO NOT DELETE YOUR PETS
The group that tested NGE in Austin was told that Creature Handler, or part of it, could be re-introduced in the future. I can't make any promises as I have no further information yet, but DO NOT DELETE YOUR PETS if you have any hope of a resolution at all.
If I stay, I planned on keeping the pets in the datapad if they weren't removed.
But this is some positive news to hear. Thanks for the info.
Hey...am I first? ![]()
I would have never ever deleted mine anyway, but thanks for the heads-up, Ko... ![]()

I think I would be shocked at any CH who would lol.
Anyway, here's what I intend to do and perhaps others might want to do this too.
I am going to use a respec token on one of my alts (in my case it is one I was probably going to make CH anyway) and transfer all of my favorite pets to her. I am then going to load up on two things--CL10 and below and any specials that I don't have yet that I want. I will work on getting them trained the way I want (just in case they do keep their specials). This way, I will have useable pets on my main.
If you don't have an alt, perhaps you have a friend or a guildie that you trust who has one that could help you out.
After the initial shock, I came to the realization that they probably will add us back in someday--just not immediately, sigh.
I will have a busy time until the big bang to tame all the mounts I want to give my guildmates as presents...
I'm still planning to delete my old pets as intended in my Pet Release Ceremony. They're all pre-CU pets, so even if I were to take up Creature Handler again, I'd have to start over with new tameables anyway. Their only real value at this point is sentimental. And if such a gathering on the outskirts of Theed on Bria can help mobilize player support for our cause, then that's the best possible use I can think of for them. Well worth it, in my mind. And yes, support is building rapidly on Bria.
At any rate, this is a very welcome first glimmer of hope. Maybe my scheme of acquiring a new Motley Kaadu from a friendly Bria MCH and having her named "Hope" isn't such a misplaced gesture after all.
Thanks, Ko.
Now get back to your trench war, grunt. (KIDDING!!!)

I had no intention of going.
If that were the case, ALL and EVERYTHING of me would be going...
*cries happy*
I haven't, i just hope we get the chance to carry on with this beloved CH profession, sooner or later.
Thanks for the little light on the end of the tunnel, it's the best news since ...the oposite ones
Well I fully intend to keep certain pets. Ones that I was just using to learn the special from I will release as I always do anyway.
I to am training up some cl10 pets so My main and Alt char's will have some creature mounts with some low level specials.
I tamed a cl65 Lava Flea on Mustafar with Aggression L3 and have since added Thick Skin L3. He stays with me! I gave him a name appropriate for the status of his useability and that of all CH's after Nov. 15th:
S-C-R-E-W-E-D
LOL fitting name for a pet at this stage of teh game don't you think?
My Great Plains Stalker Zeus and Swamp Stalker Rajah will stay right where they are in my datatpad along with myt cl35 Albino Gurrcats Snowbeard and Frostbite. There a re a few more that I'll hang onto but those are my Fav's.
Am thinking I'll have my alt who's a BE (yeah I got double whammied) make me a cat that looks similar to the GPS and just drop the deed in my house so I can sorta still have 'ol Zeus around outside teh datapad.
that's not to say your efforts aren't appreciated - thank you for continuing to speak up for the community.
