It was just another day for me on Tatooine trying desperately to find the wild dune boar's mysterious hideout. After 12 days things were looking pretty grim. I mean, you can only see so many desert razorback babies before they drive you to insanity you know? lol...but after a long day at work, I decided to watch Crouching Tiger/Hidden Dragon (never saw it before and I was told its a great movie to see, so I got the DVD). And indeed it was.
So that got my spirits all optimistic of course after watching such an inspiring movie. And no more than 2 seconds after I sit down at my computer do I get a tell from a friend who says: "WILD DUNE BOAR!!!!!!!!!"
................AAAAHHHH!!!!
So I immediately go to the coords he lists and right before my very eyes is indeed the rarest creature on Tatooine: the wild dune boar...the first one ive seen in all 11 months of gameplay. To make this part short, i killed it 4 times, no baby. I took like 18 screenshots though so I'll post one at the bottom, lol. Anyway, I eventually fell asleep. And woke up at like 3am, and decided to take a look around again. Somehow I run into one at the exact same time another friend of mine mails me the coords of it. lol, we started laughing cause that was so strange...but then i proceeded to take him out. 4 adults, no baby. But atleast I FINALLY know where to look. So heres two screenshots and two waypoints. Hope they help you guys out, and lets make this creature a not-so-rare-anymore-cause-we-are-too-damn-good

Congrats for atleast finding them! You're having better luck than I. Been searching for a fewdays now on and not found anything of interest other than my Wasteland Cupa. Anyway, I probably have another week before I see one, let alone find a baby.

You know, I really, really have to find one of these . . . I'm getting so tired of telling people to keep their eyes open for me and then have them say "why? I passed 50 of them last night" and having to bash them over the head for sending me WP's to razorbacks. If I could just get the fool thing out of the way, lol.

Is it like the big cats in that it attacks any nearby animal, including pets? Any other "different" behavior from normal creatures?

My swamp stalker does that. It's kinda cool. Not sure if it goes after pets tho I haven't tested that.

Ah, congrats Tivo. Glad to hear these are still around after all. I have actually been keeping an eye on the deserts for them recently.
