Creature Handler Archive

I am a master CH and I have literally every pet that I need... except I want a Gaping Spider Queen just to have, even though I probably won't use it. Does anyone have any clue what area of Dathomir I have to search to find these? I have been unlucky lately and have only stumbled across a few gaping spider lairs...

I found mine on the eastern middle edge of the map. I think the spawns are sporked on that planet right now though. Seems you can run forever and see nothing.

I just deleted mine, the darn thing could never be named no matter how many times I went about it. And yes, I do know how to name creatures too. Since the naming thing was bugged, I was afraid to find out what else could be, so safer to just delete it and stick with my Graping Spider Hunter.

I just saw one east of the science outpost not even 1200m out. It is the only one I saw though. ever. Is there missions for spiders? If so that might help

Derek from Challistra has them for sale regularly on his site so there MUST be a spawning place for them.

Yeah, he wont notice the 7 foot tall wookie followed by 3 Frenzied Rancors. I can ask an image designer to paint the FGs green, and we can all sneak around and pretend to be trees (okay them as trees, me as a shrubbery).

Don't mind me, trying to ease the Friday work day with humor.

Really though, I will be on Endor soon, so I will go looking for them.

I expect you mean 3 frenzied grauls since frenzied rancors have no babies =P

Frenzied rancors dont exist....gnarled, normal, ancient and mutant

And I have had several, Running to the SE I usually find one. If there is a queen (full grown) at the lair, just run away and respawn. You'll get a baby eventually

the queen sux, i throw mine right away i got it. it only do like 370 dmg and only AR1.

Spawns are really messed up on Dathomir right now...going to be hard to find them. I have tamed 3 so far: I kept one and sold the other two. They spawn from Gaping spider queen lairs only. Never seen one spawn from an insect lair yet.

I tamed the 1st onewest of the Northern Outpost...bout 2k away...

I tamed the second east of the Southern Outpost...bout 1k away....

I tamed the third from a location someone sent me in game (found a baby) and it was 2.5k NE of the Southern Outpost.

They are around but the babies are pretty rare. It is impossible due to the traffic on Dathomir to re-spawn a nest without fighting it down.

Stats aren't the only important thing to all CH's. They are just crazy, evil lookin, and HUGE. I love the comments I get from my Gaping Queen Although I can't rename it, anyone else have this problem?

Man some people are actually pet collectors and don't need/want the leetest pet available.
A strange concept I know but it does exist.

Gaping Spider Queens....

Can be found on the island just across from the Northern most outpost. Just hammer on the lairs or do a clipping plane lair reset and with a bit of time and effort you should find one if not a few.
