New Server: Scylla

BEAST, which is a "Creature Handler" player association, is now available on the Scylla server.
Creature Handlers, Bio Engineers and Rangers from novice to master are welcome regardless of faction.

I am now looking for members on Sunrunner as well. I know I had about 6 people interested, I'm just waiting for them to get back to me.

Maybe the thread can be brought in line with the profession forums just by listing all the galaxies BEAST is already active on.

Then it becomes off-topic for galaxy forums and more of general CH interest.

I think the concept of a single-profession PA is interesting.

Think we should have a sticky post that lists all active BEAST guilds, what server they are on and the guild master name (IGN and on forums)

Rule 5: No Spam Please do not use the forums in any way to promote third party services, products, websites, or organizations.

Other guilds don't want to see you exploit a profession board when they are not receiving the same recruitment benefits. Now given, I am probably the only guildie here who cares about this, but after the combat revamp it won't be so and this is NOT exclusively the beast forum.

Please refrer to rule #5 above. Guilds are, in my opinion third party, soe does not organize them therefore they are 3rd party in my opinion.

I mean what is so hard about you guys getting your own website and message board and posting a link to it in your signature? Gamers.com has free boards guys and gals. I won't exploit this baord with any guild I am affiliated with, you should not either.

get a forum, put a link in it and there you go. If someone sees BEAST promoting itself here on this forum, they automatically think it is the SOE sponsored CH guild. That is the major issue with it, in my opinion. And a sticky????????

The guild function was implemented directly into the games code, there's no exploit about it. And until i see some red name come in here and flame up a sandstorm about how having a guild dedicated to an official SWG proffesion is a horrible thing to talk about and must be obliterated then im afraid all your arguments are turned fairly preposterous.

We are a multi-server creature handler guild.

We are a guild based on the creature handler profession with 99% of membership being creature handlers. Also we are aware that the majority of creature handlers who play the game read this forum which is why it is crucial we use the forum to announce when a new chapter has started on a specific server.

Also if we were to post on every galaxy forum about BEAST it would be considered spamming which is why this approach to promoting our multi-server guild is best.

Very shortly I will be posting a roll call so everyone in the ch community can see that we are a true multi-server creature handler guild.

Each galaxy keeps track of all guilds on each forum, no other profession forum promotes a specific guild. You are spamming this forum and solely promoting your guild here. The server forums ARE where you should promote your guild.

Sigh... if I am the only one that feels this way, you guys just enjoy yourself.

Don't even bother responding.... This forums has become useless.

Therearethe Antarian Rangers on the Ranger forum. They've been "spaming"that forum for over a year. I would think the practice would have been stopped by now if SOE felt it violated the rules.

IMO, the fact that this guild is comprised primarily of CHs makes it relevent to this board, especially due to it also being multi-server. I agree that mixed profession guilds should not advertise on profession boards, but this is clearly not the case with BEAST. As far as violating forum rules goes, let the red names worry about that. If the thread doesn't interest you then don't read it.
