Thread: Master CH in 20 hours

I wanted to see how long it would take me to master CH (since it's the 6th time I've mastered it). My previous personal best was about 4 days. But, this time, I was able to go Novice Scout to MCH right around 20 hours.

First off, getting to novice CHis easy when you have a commando hunting Rancors for you. The next part took a bit of macroing.

There's a spot in Tyrena right next to the star port where meatlumps spawn and pretty much only attack with melee. They're very low level, but with a baby pet, they yield 105xp per kill. With doc buffs on 3 people and a standard "/target, ,/tellpet attack, /attack, /loot" recursive macro, I was getting that 105xp as quickly as every 2 seconds (a little bit less if my baby pet got confused on who to attack since I was yelling orders so frequently). I just let this run while doing things around the house (KOTOR2, house cleaning, etc) and sat down every 15 to 20 minutes to clear my inventory of loot and to train.

If I hadn't taken time to do some Christmas shopping and to sleep (which filled up my inventories if I was away for more than 20 minutes) it would have been less. But, not only did I get to MCH in that short amount of time, I looted 7 various adhesives and around 1.5 million credits and had 1000 BF and Novice TK all at the same time.

Sounds like fun, can you post the macro pls.

Just love to try it out. I was in the Squill caves yesterday with a swordsman and got 40k worth of CH xp in 1 hour. So its not bad, but the macro would be nice to have.

Thanks.

/ui action cycleTargetOutward

/tellpet attack

/pause 2 (give pet time to attack)

/attack (finish him off yourself)

/pause 2

/loot

/macro <name>

Make sure you use a pet with desent resist ... and it helps if you have anelite combat profession, so you can kill the bugger after your pet hits him once....

When you loot them, they respawn almost instantly.

You may want to add /stand to your macro. Ive seen several people die because they got knocked down and never stood back up.
