The timer for enrage seems to have been removed, weather or not it is intentional I dont know. I was enrageing my pets like crazy last night with no down time in between.

Also there is a bug with plauge strike. Lets say a person with 400 health gets buffed for 2000 leaving them with a health of 2400 gets hit by plauge strike on the health pool. The plauge strike would only wound them for 400 points of damage. You will still see it ticking but it will not do any damage at all. I assume that this is true for specials such as strong disease as well but since it ticks for a whopping 3 damage per tick it is impossible to tell.

Also who had the bright idea to make strong disease tick for 3 damage? I know CHs were powerfull back in the day but how can you justify such a thing??? Seriously I want an answer.

Interesting that about the enrage - will try that out.

As for the plague strike/disease tick, I always used to think that it wasn't a bug - e.g. my CH has 625 on H/A.

If he then gets buffedand does one of his usual bull rancor expeditions - and gets hit on H/A - it will never go beyond what your base H/A (or M for that matter) is no matter how long it lasts. You may get struck more than once on a bar and it may go more quickly - but in many, many expeditions from mid last year to present I've never seen it try to eat into your buff pool as well as your base HAM.

Imagine if it did tick on my CH for more than my base 625 - It would be perilous / dangerous when buffs wear off and you were suddenly into negative HAM instead of at 1.

But - that being said, I can see it as a bug after seeing you describe it that way and thinking about it - and therefore also see no harm in getting a fix so that while buffs last that plagues/disease can build up to what your HAM consists of (e.g. 2500 or whatever) - with the caveat that when buffs (mind or H/A) wear off that you end up at 1 as you do currently. Negative ham giving instant triple incaps would not be good.

edit 2: Hmm, thinking about it more - if it was "fixed" so that it ate intothe buff pool as well as base HAM, would make my task asa creature handler searching for a bull rancor a wee bit too tricky probably. No doc skills (or med for that matter now) on my ch.

Then how come combat medics can do this?

Not going to take this OT by talking about combat meds here - didn't mention anything about them above. If they have something broken, that's something for their forum, not here.

What I will say is that plague strike or disease (and I've been in a situation where I've been diseased enough bydiseases from outside of the bull ranc/screecher world to find out) doesn't eat more than base HAM.

That's the case wether you are buffed or not. You get to 1 HAM and you stop there even if you see it ticking.

So, in your request for a fix to make it so that it eats into a buffed HAM zone, all I'm suggesting is that IF this is done, the devs don't break it so that you get into a situation where you could triple incap if you have no way of stopping/countering the disease. As it is currently.

More succintly - if they fix it, hope they don't break another part of the same game part.

think he is saying, if you are buffed, and your original ham before being buffed is 400, then you cannot be diseased by plague strike for more than 399.

Never knew that, messed up if it is the case.

If your diseased to a full black bar by a CM while buffed the disease will reset to 1 when your buffs drop if im not mistaken.

Dunno what I was thinking but the light has dawned.

I apologise now if I seemed in any way "short" with you Velitham in other replies.

Anyways, I do see the link to CM's and believe that all you are seeking is parity with them in this respect (correct me if im wrong).

In that respect I agree and /sign to this being put on the issue list if it's not at present.

This is normal for disease. I have been diseased by many a creature and it works on the unmodified stat score. So, if you have 400 health, and a 1000 pt buff, and the disease is from a bull ranc, then you have 399 in wounds. When the buff goes away, you have 1 health until you get those wounds taken care of.

This needs to be fixed. I PvP with my pets reguarly and the plauge strike special would be a very valuable special if it was not for this. Currently it is only usefull if it hits mind since everyone has everything migrated to that pool anyway it will do 1k wounds max.

I don't think this is a problem so much with how the special works, more of a problem with the current buff system.
If buffs where a bit more relaistic then it might not be that big of a deal.
