Thread: Star Wars Creatures from the Movies we Should Have

Howdy Creature Handlers
First, I know you have bigger issues to worry about. I want the Combat Upgrade to help my profession too. This thread is not unique but I felt that this issue does address adding to the Star Wars-yness of our game. There are a few animals missing that need to be in Galaxies. If there is a post that covers my observation, please give credit to the posters.
1. Shaaks (big Tick Cows) should be all over Naboo. They may not be great combat pets but should be quite common and be good source of meat for hunting. If Ranching is ever introduced, they should be the lead stock fora farm. This is a creature in the movies not in Galaxies.
2. Massiffs are the pets of Tusken Raiders. Kinda had a strange start being in a deleted scene with Obi-wan on Geonosis but found thier place in the camps of the Sandpeople. Possibly better trainable than a Huurton, I hope. This isa creature in the movies not in Galaxies.
3. Scurriers should be the Primary City Trash of Tatooine. They may not have been in your Dads Star Wars but they are in George's more perfect Star Wars. If a Newbie Marksman loads to Mos Eisley, he/she had better have the ability to help Animal Control to rid the city of these pests. This is a creature in the movies not in Galaxies.
Additionally, I would love to see Dinkos introduced as I think they would be a great combat pet that is the size of a Jaxx or Durni. I always wanted to see this little guy since I read about him in Brain Daley's Han Solo trilogy. Finally, I would love to see Guarlaras (Naboo Horse) added as a mount. Many a Imperial would sit proud on this noble creature. A few of us Rebs too. 
A wish list, but one I hope some of you agree with.

I want to tame Vornskyr. More specifically I want to be a 3000 Bounty Hunter/Master Creature Handler with a pair of vornskyr.

Taun Tauns! No wait, then we'd need a new planet... Wampas! No wait, same problem... space slugs? Or maybe a space faring creature that can be called in space.
I wouldn't mind a pet like Jabba had. What did he call it... Oola, I think. That was a nice one.

Wampas could be made available. The empire captured some of the wampas and genetically engineered them to adapt to various planets and climates. If you've ever played Shadow of the Empire, there are brown furred Wampas that blend in with the planet's rocky valleys.

Yes, Gurlaras are the Black horse-like mounts that I found in the book "The Wildlife of Star Wars: A Field Guide." I have since understood that this creature is featured on Naboo in statues in Theed. I do not know the scenes from Ep. 1 or 2 but that would make this, Sorta: A creature in the movies not in Galaxies.
Except for the Dinko, my wishes are all from planets we have in Galaxies. Other creatures mentioned in this thread would be interesting to see what they , the Art Developers, would invision. I cant count the many Wamp Rats that have been created outside of Galaxies. Game balance would be the top issue for the Force Creatures but would add some more play depth in the Bounty Hunter vs. Jedi relationship. All good ideas.

Much like the Cu Pa of Tatooine. I would imagine Cu Pa are the stunted cousin of TaunTauns.

Kowakian Monkey Lizards would be great. I believe that this and other such creatures should be worked with to add something to the Entertainer profession. Entertainers are mad at the lack of content and care to thier profession. Give em Pets with special tricks to entertain the masses. "Dance Monkey, Dance!"

Acklays = Master pet
Nexu = Great wild hunter kinda like a cross between a GPS and a big aligator
Zalakas = Naboo horse size lizard wolfs, colored blueish gold , kinda like pekos Also ridible like iin the wild life of SW book
Endor Condor Dragons = rumored tehy were in beta but deemed too fun and crazy to tame

How about any of those creatures from EP2 in the gladiatorial arena type thingy? Other than that I can't think of any we don't already have barring the Wampa and Tauntaun (which is pretty much inevitable we'll see at some point in the future anyway).

If we get Geonosis in the future, Hell Yes. I love the Nexu. The Reek would be interesting as would the Acklay. Im sure Geonosis would have a whole host of pets the CHs would crave. Hoth is a favored adventure planet that players demand but I think Geonosis of the GCW would be a kick too.
