Thread: How can I stop the automatic page refresh?

I've gone into My Profile and Preferences and have set "Automatic Page Refresh Interval" to 0 as well as 30 and it has no effect.
Anytime I view the forums it refreshes every minute....it's very annoying........
Any other suggestions to stop or delay the refresh time?
