Thread: The JTL lie: this is not a rant, just an expression of disapointment.

JTL is not twitch based, it's skill based.
I say this because the ability to pilot the ships is tied up in the skills, the same as the equipment, I can understand the special abilities though, so I'm not upset about that.
Ultimately, a person's ability to perform in a fighter is based on how many skill boxes a pilot has, and that means that the only 'twitch' in the game is the ruddering and pulling the trigger. Using the same base one can also claim that the groung game is twitch based as one's fingers must me quick at the keyboard to use the proper manouvers at the proper times.
When all is said and done, if this is the way you want JTL to run, that's fine, I can deal with that. But don't try to tell me it's twitch based, when what decides who can win an engagement is who has the bigger skill pool and pocket book.
NOTE: I am not complaining because I have trouble with JTL. On the contrary, I find it to be so easy for me as to be boring, which I have to admit is more than a little satisfying *grin*.
