Thread: Pre-Orders, Digital Downloads, and Special Editions?

Seriously SOE I think these are all very great and everything but why not just add these little small features as buyable upgrades from your SOE store.
I never Ordered the Special Edition of SWG, but I have played it since day one. I weep and stab myself everytime I see people with the Special Edition Goggles because you never added any cool shades or eyeware to the game and I am all about customsiing my avatar.
I think if you added:
- SE Goggles
- Barc Speeder
- The Lizard Mount (I have one but I forgot its name,lol)
- Extra Ship Storage
As small little $5 products on your SOE store you will get many many people buying them. I cant go back and buy the SE of SWG because the goggles will be registered to a new account and I want them for my current toon that I play everyday since day one.
Please consider getting rid of all these confusing different ways to buy a game and just add the special extra optional content as a seperate product. Halo 2 recently released 4 new maps. 2 were free for everyone and you can buy the other two for like $5. You guys should do this for Star Wars Galaxies. Maybe add some more stuff too.

Garva and others I think my post to be presented in a constructive manner and I truly feel that e3stablishing this as a feature will not only eliminate a lot of confusion between customers and SOE employees but it will actually make you guys money while at the same time satisfying many players.

Great idea, I was just thinking of posting almost the same message. I too kick myself everytime i see someone with the SE glasses, and also the flash speeder, I would have preoredered JTL in a heartbeat but didn't have a credit card at the time. I too would be totally willing to shell out an extra five or so bucks a pop for those items also I would love to get my hands on a BARC.

Great idea. I only pre-ordered one copy of JTL so only one character has a flash speeder.
