I agree with this. I've been playing since before day 1(beta)...well day 2 due to the login servers being down the first day. $50 for SWG, $20 for JTL, $25 for RoTW. Now i'm going to go spend another $30 just so i can get the barc and trade it to my main account. I think that they probably knew that this would be a good way to squeeze a little more blood from the stone that is their loyal (or is it addicted...maybe brainwashed) players.
LOL,brainwashed without a doubt
Veteran players who bought the expansion should have gotten their CHOICE, or even both of the rewards.
They never made any secret of the fact the speeder comes with the full box set.
If you wanted the BARC that badly why on earth did you pre order the Digital Download ? With SOE's track record on releases, knowing how bug ridden they release everything,I can't believe you were so desperate for the expansion that you couldn't have waited a couple more weeks and bought the boxed set for £2 more and got more up to date disks as well.

Because I pre-ordered on the first day the DD was announced as available, I ordered it because the original announcement for it stated that the 3 extra ship slots were exclusive to the digital download this was later, and very shortly before the live dateammended toinclude the boxed set. The Boxed set had not been announced at the time I pre ordered, I did not spot the change in the announcement before the live day because it was so close and I did not even know about the boxed set until after live day. Had I known I would have waited and bought the "experience" in the shops.
To the other backup suggestion
I have a feeling that would contravene the EULA, but I would of course temporarily transfer (move) the files to a spare hard disk (thus the software is still on one and only one piece of hardware for that licence) ![]()
Tell you what.. Sony can charge the extra £2 to my card and exchange my lizard for a BARC and Ill graciously forget about the updated disks.
