Thread: I cannot reach other players who play what I play, we need a board for ourselves
I play one of the rarest professions in SWG. There are 3-5 of my kind on Corbantis. Ranger's, Creature Handlers, Squad Leadersand Droid Engineers are common compared tous.
I am a Master Force Healer.
I know there are more like me out there on other servers, and I would like to talk with them, but I cannot reach them, why?
Becouse my space here are shared with four other skillsets, and discussions about severalcontroversal pvp systems that always end up in flamewars.
Any time I begin a Healer post, it's drenched within an hour by posts that more common than not have nothing to do my profession.
The Jedi forum needs to be divided into six boards, one for each discipline, and one General board. That's the only way I can reach "my kind" and discuss "our issues" with other's who play what we do. We need a space for ourselves, please.
/broken but proud.
forums at this
time, splitting up the jedi forums would not help in bringing issues to
the developement team (via correspondents) which is one of the main
reasons we have the profession forums to begin with. To help you can
report any inappropriate post that clutter up the forum using the
report to moderator link in each post.

Reporting every "useless thread" would be a day-job. Yesterday the Jedi forum got five pages of new threads. It's impossible to find anything of substance when you have to go through all that, especially when most posts are junk (I died and I am angry, is my template good, i am angry becouse of broken loot, my power is less good than your power). Large and worthy posts such as guides, collected data or helpful info is often drenched within an hour and it's impossible to find what you need for your own profession. (note that while I might have a Jedi character, I play a Master Force Healer, one of the rarest professions in the game right now). As a regular F.A.Q. writer and info collector I oftenfeel like I am better off posting my Jedi Guides or Jedi Information in the Core System or General Game forum instead, since I know it will reach more people who needs the info. Unless the forum can be divided in some other way, it would be great if the mods could find some way to reduce the flood so we can divide what's useful information and what's just another angry statement. |

Agreed. I recently gave up on the Jedi forums and don't bother with them anymore. The signal to noise ratio is very painful. / |

I guess that's one way to solve the problem. |
