Thread: Why Does it Say I Canceled My Account When I Havnt?
If you are using a game card then your account status will always be cancelled. Reason being is that unless you enter in a new game card by the time the prior one expires your account will be cancelled (though you can reactivate it at a later date)
When people put a credit card in their account payment section SOE just continues to credit their card until a customer manually goes to the screen to cancel. SOE can't continue to credit a prepaid gamecard.
Yeah, no need to worry about a character purge or anything. That's for accounts that haven't been played for months/years. Not for the accounts that have just cancelled the month or two beforehand.
But SOE has yet to do a purge. They think if people have access to their toons they are more likely to come back and play them if something interesting comes out in the game that they want to try out.
