Thread: Search: Fixed in EQ2, why not here?

A while back, EQ2 had the same problem SWG has with searches on the forums failing. Lithium came out with an update and it's been fixed since. Back when the problem existed I remember seeing post(s) where people said that SWG had the same problem "for a long time now" and hadn't fixed it. When I joined SWG I assumed since Lithium had fixed it for EQ2, SWG would be all set now also, but apparently not so. Obviously Lithium has the capability to fix it, why hasn't SOE upgraded to an improved version of the forum yet?

The search databases and problems associated with them are individual
to each specific forum. EQ2 does not experience the exact same problem
since we have a multitude more posts than them. It is being worked on
but its not an overnight fix for Lithium.

hmm that is interesting... SWG forums are more popular or just has a larger database due to length of service?
