I thought I'd quote myself here. It's taken from a thread on the Chimaera forum about SOE directions regarding SWG :
Obviously, there's something wrong with the way SOE is getting customers feedback. I work as a developer for a company that does quality feedback engines and my point of view is that instead of simply placing a survey on the cancel account page (that I don't know how many persons answer) they could simply implement a survey IN GAME with a little reward for those who answer it (they seem to like designing holo rewards, these days).
Not only they'd touch the unhappy people and the forum posters but as well the happy people that are currently playing the game. "Transform feedback into management indicators and development directions".

Excellent idea, and perfectly capable of being done as when the CU was on TC prior to release they had a pop up screen with a load of questions.
They were loaded questions admittedly, designed to effectively favour the CU, but at least it was feedback.
