Me and a few friends ahve been hypothisizing (sp?) about SOE's ultimate plan to kill the game. Well with the group XP nerf it appears we were right. Why they are trying to kill the game, I do not know, but it is clear that they are. I have just posted the following message on my guild's website (editted for the SOE boards):
Was in a group of 8 and got a whopping 152 Jedi XP for killing a level 81, and that was with the 26.4% "group bonus"
I went out of the group and got 968 Jedi XP for killing the same thing.
So, since it is soo hard to kill things solo unless I use uber amounts of force, and grouping won't help us at all:
I will be taking a break.
I am now *planning* on quitting. I will still come on Sundays and do the Krayt hunts, but besides that I will not be logging onto the game anymore. (Except for tomorrow to take down my harvesters and to give people admin rights to my houses).
I will be watching the forums for any evidence that SOE cares about is player base at all, but until I see that they brought back the group XP to working levels, I will not be returning.

I have loved playing with you all and will miss you dearly. Maybe we can all meet in the next MMORPG whether it is WoW or CoH or whatever, but I will never play another SOE game or buy another Sony product.
For the next few weeks I willl be palying Dungeon Siege 2, but I think that is mainly a single player game. If any of you wnt to join me though, I'd be happy to explore the possibilities of multiplayer and explore the world with any of you. While playing Dungeon Siege 2 I will still log onto Team Speak to talk with any of you that want to talk.
Guildmate 1, I'd still like to meet you andGuildmate2when I got to Florida for X-mas and New Years.

the f*cked they game up again and are calling it a "bug" but they are gonna put things back to the way they were cuse they are afraid
