After the Pub 22 debacle i am left witha fewpuzzling questions

1. What purpose do the in concept/ in development forums have when their topics are always dated?

2. Why is it so difficult to release more detailed patch/hotfix notes? Surely the programming teams have to track all of the code changes they make?

3. just an idea but perhaps the dev team might put a voting terminal on every galaxie where a player can cast his vote (ya or na) on upcoming changes. this would give us a true idea of how many are for or against.

4. what forum is for players to discuss a wish list of things that arent directly related to a profession? perhaps if there was one then the community would aid the development staff by giving them a place to poke around for ideas that might prove to be benificial.

5. What is the development teams point of view on "grinding = fun" ...... is grinding supposed to be a substitute for content?

6. if the answer to #5 is yes then , wouldnt it be overall more enjoyable to make the content rewards beequivalent to the time invested (this is with respect to XP)? example the dev team feel that in 12 hours a player should be able to get X exp. therefore if they have a quest that they feel should average about 12 hours of game play then the payout in addition to the uber stone knife, you also get X amount of exp.

7. It appears that there is a disconnect between the developers and the community staff, without going into detail has this disconnect been resolved? meaning have you taken a look at where the communication problems began and developed a control to ensure that this type of problem never occurs again. (yes or no will do, i am well aware of your policy not to "air your dirty laundry" however to me this game isalot like an investment. The$30.00 a month i pay should go towards a solid productive team, if the team is having difficulty it is ok, if members of the team are showing poor performance it is not, should those members not be dealt with then faith in the team falters and the team falls apart. (lol look at this like NASCAR, hey devs lets win some more races and get SWG back to the top of the MMO list)

one more note ...... part of these problems might stem from the amount of time some of the DEV's spend on the forums ..... look at their last log in times .... some havent been here in months ..... now my question to that is why?
