Thread: Forum Viewing problem

i'm using Opera to look round the forums and on a few pages the surroundings and some of the beggining of the first post is missing? i've updated opera, the same page opens fine in IE. any ideas?

no support for Opera I would assume.
it's optimized for IE 5.5+ if memory serves

Someone probably put a greater-than or less-than symbol (perhaps with dashes in front) into their post and the Forums incorrectly pass it along. The forum software should be encoding them as > and < as per the HTML spec.

Unfortunately, both IE and FF/Mozilla in Quirks Mode will ignore the misplaced tag end (or comment end) mark, while Opera matches it to some previous tag/comment and everything in between disappears.
