Well, SOE certainly seems to be quiet since all the feedback landed on their doorsteps. I pray that LucasArts has a hand in the oversight of the progress of SWG, and they are bringing some accountability to the SWG SOE team here. Cause they sure gots a lots of feedback yes?

One can only hope they're taking to heart the problem that they always seem to get themselves into, but since they haven't learned from their mistakes so far, one has to wonder if they ever will?

Once again, they went right from the "customer complaints" stage, straight to "launch the beta" stage, and they missed all the intermediary stages that solicit community feedback. If they ever figured it out, they'd take the complaints, develop some alternative solutions, present them back to the community, get feedback from the community on their high-level ideas, evaluate the feedback from the community, repeat as necessary, then move towards beta. But they never seem to include that feedback loop before going to code. Once it hits beta, fundamentals are largely set in stone, cats out of the bag, and its only complaints and tweaks from then on.

Personally, I've been wrung around this ongoing Live Beta that SWG is so many times, I don't really care about the CU. I'd rather they didn't, simply because its too much of a dramatic change to the fabric of the game. It's not necessary to that extent. If I'm lacking heart and spirit for this game anymore, its because A) I'm tired of getting yanked around in an everchanging Live Beta, and B) I'm tired of having changes forced on us without the feedback loop that would circumvent a whole lot of dissatisfaction in the game and the project management.

Bring it on SWG SOE. You cannot disappoint us, because the bar is set so low to begin with, we no longer have expectations for your communication or performance.

Fundamentally opposed to the SWG GR (Game Revamp) - Fix Classic SWG incrementally rather than embarking on balancing a New SWG from scratch - Players have suffered enuf for 2 yrs., time to build on strengths, thanks! - CLICK HERE

-I support a Galactic Civil War fought between regular, average players... Simply strict, hardlined Imperials & freedom lovin' Rebels fighting for control of the galaxy. A Galactic Civil War fought not with glowsticks or lightsabers, but with blasters, lances, and how much guts you have. A Galactic Civil War which reflects the timeline, the destruction of the Death Star, the absolute control which the Empire has and the brave Rebels trying to break up that reign... The extinction of all but a few rare and special Jedi. That my friends, is the Galactic Civil War and that is what we have to aim for.
