Im getting increasingly annoyed of the "style" forum bug, where the forum functions add "S-T-Y-L-E="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"" to most text I have been writing... which gives me a "style" error when I try to post.
Note that S-T-Y-L-E in the code above should be simply "style". I cant write "style" + "=" becouse then I get the error message.

Ok. This bug really seriously need a fix.
Not only is it annoying to bypass, it even deletes the entire message before you have it sent...
its highly annoying when you have written something long and detailed, just to have it erased due to this flaw.
It have happened too many times now.

It's not really a bug. There happens to be a filter that checks for HTML codes that aren't allowed. And the style = code is just one of them.
The reason why some of the codes aren't allowed anymore is that quite a few [censored] weirdo's thought it was quite funny to abused those codes.
(I have the habit of copying my textbefore I press the submit post button.)

While its ok that things shouldnt be abused, wouldnt it be possible to just disable it?
Something in the editor adds this html by itself, and its annoying to be forced to remove it by handin most of the posts I make

The main reasons to get the style = command in your text are:
Copying and pasting from a website
Copying and pasting fromsom Dev posts (they do get the full HTML commands)
Copying and pasting from some word-processors.
To avoid getting this 'bug' you should copy the text, paste it in avanilla ASCII text editor (like notepad), copy it from there and then paste into the editor. That way all HTML codes will be stripped.

Yes, it will. Together with all pretty colors, and structure such as my lovely quote of your post above this text.

I always end up trying to "fix" the message im quoting, so its easy to read what im writing and differ that from what I quoted, so im always stuck with the style issue
There is something with the available toolbuttons that add them.
